    Dear, Samoans. Please forgive NZ for what the Pakeha/Palagis did to you guys back in those days. They did the same shit everywhere they went and it pissed us all off, you're not alone in this bullshit struggle.

    Thank you for this! Growing up I knew nothing about Samoan history and culture (I still have a lot to learn) I've only started taking interest and I honestly so emotional but also thankful for our ancestors who fought for country!❤ Lets continue to share and educate others about our history but importantly honour them who had fought long our freedom 🇼🇸

    thank you for all these talk about the past of our beautiful Island of Samoa .now it really give me strength and courage to fight for our encestors land that these evil people took from them.it was all lies and bullying to get what they wanted .they had an agenda. I would like to see the government do something to pay respect to those who stood up for our Island and people especially Hounorable Tamasese.

    This is what we should have in American sociology and history books instead of the false fafafine claim that fafafine is a important part of Samoan culture. It’s not part of Faasamoa at all. The mau and this rarely spoken about history of our Heros who faced these “super powers” .

      @theephraimite Před 3 lety +3

      Milika Afuhaamango, no, your sexual orientation is not important. Service, sacrifice and loyalty are important. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

    • @theephraimite
      @theephraimite Před 3 lety +3

      @Milika Afuhaamango Samoan culture has been recognizing faafafines for centuries.

      @theephraimite Před 3 lety +1

      @Milika Afuhaamango I don’t what you mean about them being neglected. I grew up in Samoa, and they were always accepted for who they were, despite Samoa’s strong religious beliefs. Could you give me some specifics?

    • @theephraimite
      @theephraimite Před 3 lety +1

      @Milika Afuhaamango yes, I’ve never seen that happening in Samoa. I think saw some of those vids, and it appears to me they are not being specific at all. What exactly is being done that makes them feel unaccepted? I just want to know the specifics so I can better understand where they are coming from because, by the looks of it, it’s more like they are just repeating the rhetoric of the left in Western countries - which are all claims, but no evidence. If you can specify a few things, then I might see where you folks are coming from.

    Very good overview for the laity, interestingly though, on the deportation of Namulaulu Lauaki, not wanting to split hairs here, you would deport a foreigner and you would banish into exile your fellow countryman. Just confirming the fact that Namulaulu Lauaki was not a foreigner migrant in Samoa, he was indigenous to Samoa and was banished and exiled from Samoa. Please, for the sake of posterity the correct definition be used for our ancestors, please!

    ITS SAD THAT OUR ANCESTORS WHO WORKED FOUGHT AND DIED TO MAKE OUR SAMOA A BETTER PLACE FOR OUR PEOPLE IS BEING RIPPED OFF BY THEIR OWN POLITICIANS TODAY. POLITICIANS WHO TAKE THE MONEY TO LINE THEIR POCKETS INSTEAD OF WHAT IT WAS INTENDED FOR. WHY DON'T THEY MAKE THESE PEOPLE PAY FOR STEALING FUNDS INSTEAD OF TURNING AWAY AND IGNORING WHAT THEY DO? SAMOA CAN NEVER REACH ITS FULL POTENTIAL BECAUSE OF THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE THAT STEAL MONEY FROM THEIR OWN PEOPLE. WE SHALL ALL STAND BEFORE GOD ON THAT DAY...BETTER HAVE A GOOD ANSWER.
