Linguistically pronunciation of the two words safar is similar but has different meanings and spelling.
Urdu or Arabic-speaking people know the difference between the word صفر and the word سفر from the context- The commonly known meaning of the word سفر is travel or journey -
The other word صفر commonly understood as 2nd month of the Islamic Calendar. The word صفر is a derivative of the word sifar (zero) - Safira صَفِرَ means to be empty, to vacant, devoid. My understanding is that safar (صفر) is a second stage or manifestation (شهر) of our evolutionary cycle, which requires to empty ourselves of our old ideology or beliefs. Safar (صفر) signifies emptiness, nothingness.
