- In 2006, BMW reproduced a classic 2002 Tii, using a glass workshop near it's Munich headquarters for some of the assembly. This is a documentary of the process, including full restoration work, parts research, TUV inspection, driving & interior footage, the vehicle's first showing at Techno Classica 2006 in Essen and commentary by BMW employees (German only).

some details are screwed/bolted on just for the filming perhaps, as they don't use lubrication on, for example, break disk bearings. Also, he didn't connect the turn signal cable before screwing it in. Neither did they put any gasket or maybe silicone between the tail lights and the body - a nice spot for rust to start.

Haha the only problem without much money is figuring out how to spend it all! This is a good way to spend quite a lot of it!
