Well jn an alternate ending in tekken 2 i think, Kazuya beats the devil after heihachi tanks a laser from him to save Kazuya, but instead of doing what a moral person would do, Kazuya just smiles and uses Heihachi as a meat shield in order to kill the Devil. Its non canon but i would argue that as an alt ending its still an accurate what if scenario. But you could also argue its a sabe reaction since heihachi is a terrible person. My point is that even without the gene Kazuya could potentially still be a terrible person.
That was just to draw out a beast that would have become another Ogre situation had Jin not destroyed it. I assume Jin killed Azazel but because of Zafina's powers, im almost convinced she killed it.

And Unlike Tekken 7 in which Harada-san confirmed that the between Kazuya vs Heihachi will conclude a death between them, this battle between Jin vs Kazuya, Harada-san never or didn't confirmed a death of either Kazuya or Jin will happen, but he did stated that the entire story of Tekken has already been written since the year of 1996 and that story will begin with the Mishimas, centered on the Mishimas, and end with the Mishimas on his Tekken 8 reveal interview. The only Mishima he was allowed to kill is his great grand father because he was controlled fully by an unknown entity( in which thay being's origins haven't been discovered yet, but does hints what the Mishimas really are and they been confirmed by the Hachijos and Harada-san that the Mishimas are not exactly human they are something else).

The only Mishima he was allowed to kill is his great grand father because he was controlled fully by an unknown entity( in which thay being's origins haven't been discovered yet, but does hints what the Mishimas really are and they been confirmed by the Hachijos and Harada-san that the Mishimas are not exactly human they are something else).

Killed Eddy Gordo’s parents, Killed Leo’s mother, kidnapped Michelle’s mother, kidnap Nina and forced her into crysleep, smuggled endangered species to create Roger and Alex, killed Heihachi. That man is a straight psychopath and BEYOND saving even AFTER having his Devil gene extracted. The only Tekken character life who was affected by Jin’s actions was Miguel’s.
@Theterminato2013 not only that, Jin is aware of his actions, too and trying to redeem. Kazuya, on the other hand, did so much messed up things that he forgot some and had to be reminded by those who he caused the suffering too. And his response is like: "Oh yeh.. I 4gor I did that. Cry about it."
