DeadStorm Pirates (デッドストームパイレーツ) is an Arcade gun game by Namco from 2010, where you move a analogue gun-joystick instead of pointing the gun at the screen. (It's like Gunblade NY, LA Machineguns or Let's Go Jungle) You can buy the game as a standalone on the PS3 PSN, or buy it in the pack with Time Crisis Razing Storm, or Big 3 Gun Shooting in Japan.
The machine also has a wheel between the guns, which is used for all of the Quick Time Events.
You can see where they are in this video, the game alerts you before they start.
There has been some slight changes for the console version of DeadStorm Pirates, and to make use of the PlayStation Move controller. The only changes are with the Quick Time Events; as you have no wheel, you move the controller/gun around the screen in a circular motion. Also quite a lot of treasure chests have moved places, and this rather helps with keeping combos going.
Another feature on DeadStorm Pirates is that the game has an online ranking mode, where it gives you 4 credits (so 3 continues (and 8 credits and 6 continues on 2 player)) to beat the game, and all scores are able to view. This was missing from the original Time Crisis 4 port.
There is a little cut scene removal, which had to be done.

This was my favorite game so far, as a kid the cave part with the swords was impossible for me and my brother.
After beating the game I was so happy and started jumping up and down. No one in the arcade before have ever beat the game before because it was to difficult and new at the time
My mom and I almost cleared the special edition at Dave and Busters. We used up all our credits on it. I always played it with my dad but we never actually revived ourselves when we died

It is it’s called gold storm pirates the graphics look kind of cool but at the same time it sucks becuase the 2 characters you play as in the first game are not coming back they are getting replaced

I actually played this earlier today (it’s in my workplace, so I like to go on when I have the time). My first exposure was (probably like many) on the PS3. Anyways, just went on for a quick play before work.. only went and beat it with 1 credit (sure, I was one hit by the end of ‘Treasure’, but still the one credit). This is one of those games like the time crisis and House of the Dead series that I have pretty well memorized in my head.
I remember playing this game on the arcade with my mom and we even completed the whole game we were happy together

I used to put two players on my PS3 and only have myself playing with two controllers so it really felt like I was dual wielding guns blazing, (I had two of the pistol platforms and the rifle from Killzone 3), it was amazing

I guess that's just what happens when you're given an infinite ammo, no recoil, un-overheatable handheld minigun.
I have a small technical question. I have recently bought used PS Move controllers.
I don't know if it is normal or not but I am experiencing this during my plyathrough of Time Crisis Rising Storm Collection.
I am used to play those games (TC4, DSP and TCRS) with GunCon 3 and it seems that the PS Move does not register every shot when I push the trigger like a maniac.
With the Move, when I pull the trigger fast, shots don't register. It looks like I have to wait for the trigger to reset before I can pull again. It is really quick (a few frames) but it is there with the 2 PS Move that I bought.
Do you experience such thing when playing those games with PS Move?
I understand this issue, and it is common with the PS Move controllers, the issue seems to be that there isn't any indication that the trigger switch has been pressed in enough to activate, and the point where it does activate feels unexpected. Because of this, DeadStorm Pirates and Razing Storm work a lot better with the Move controllers than Time Crisis 4.

I have started this game a long time ago on my PS3. As a completionist I want to get back to it to get all trophies. One trophy is for clearing the game in Ranking Mode, one is for clearing game without continues and one for obtaining an S-Rank in all stages. I know that all this is perfectly possible as long as I replay every stage to the point that I can remember enemy positions perfectly to be able to react fast.
What I am asking myself is if it is better to play this game dual wielded or just with one Move Gun? I will be playing alone but I have two Move Guns so could use both. Like this I would get more continues in Ranking Mode but I guess enemies are harder to kill? What do you suggest?
I would say that it is easier overall with playing one player, and most people have issues with the S Rank trophy due to the final stage, you just have to collect most of the treasure chests and not take much damage. You can select the final stage from the start after you have cleared the game before, by holding one of the buttons down (I can't remember which) before shooting the final stage area on the map.

You can play 2-player yourself if you have 2 Move controllers. With that said, as far as I know Razing Storm doesn't have a "shot at the same spot and your shots will be more powerful" mechanic. In other words you can't combine your shots into a more powerful shot. You will just do more regular damage if you shot the same enemy with the two guns.
