This video I think was made in the early 2000s. But yes, his behavior model has been around for a long time. I first heard it in 1992 and it changed many aspects of my life and how I think about things.
This is a fairly long presentation. About an hour or so if I recall. I condensed it down to just the pertinent portions of the belief model for this clip. Nothing was intentionally left out for any other reason. For the full video you'll need to purchase it from his website.
And did that behavior meet his needs overtime? No it did not. Did he admit his mistake, repent, and moved on? Yes he did. This is still good advice, even if he doesn't walk on water. I don't recall him claiming to be perfect. And I don't see you walking from the boat either. So what's your point?
"Let him without Sin Cast the First Stone"... so, are you PERFECT and without SIN, Missy?? I'm sure you could pass out Advice to others re: MISTAKES you have made in your life, and folks would probably say the same thing about YOU...
So ? He learned from it - he died in full fellowship - His book "Pain is Inevitable, Misery is Optional" where he discusses gospel principles that can help us understand and deal with the pain that will inevitably come into our lives. He explains the nature of God's plan, why pain is part of the plan, and the importance of knowing who we are. he discusses the liberating power of the Savior's Atonement and the glories of eternity when ''God shall wipe away all tears.'' He died in 2019 in full fellowship with his church
@@jjfranco0426 that's very convenient. So you can commit any "sin" you want as long as you later admit it and say you're sorry. You can commit sin after sin after sin after sin, as long as you say you're sorry and say all the right things that the church commands you to say. What about the fact that he was preaching these 'principles' the ENTIRE TIME he was cheating on his wife, who he professed to love and took fidelity vows under God to uphold? That made him a hypocrite of the highest order. What's the point of taking marriage vows at all if you can you just break them anytime you want and get away with it with an "oops, my bad." This is why "Christians" have a reputation as preachy, sanctimonious hypocrites.
Its nice to have a visual for the belief window. Thank you for posting.
Does anyone know where I can purchase or see the full video? This guy legitimately changed my life and I would like to share it.
czcams.com/video/8YDPqfAHm-Y/video.html is an audio
This is actually just like the Ben Franklin reality model. They teach it in TDCJ. Will this meet my needs over time.
I learned this model in 1996. This is a super old video

I was curious if you knew where his website is to find this full video or where you could get it at?
Please sir, I want some more?
Why did you cut out the belief patterns portion?

Multiple adulterous affairs. He was excommunicated from his church.
