Love that garland bag. Tip: you should remove all batteries from lights as they tend to leak and sometimes ruins the little box and connections they sit in .

I took down Christmas yesterday but I'm not ready to part with the evergreen stems and pinecones. I can't begin to even think about florals until March here in Upstate NY. I like the dark and moody cozy vibe for winter.
I think those of us that live in very cold/snowy climates, (I'm in Wisconsin) having florals and spring right now just looks odd when you see snow outside. If I lived in Florida, like Jessica, I would do exactly like she's doing here. I will add more "house" type plants, and we have some big tree type houseplants, but I too will be keeping up some evergreen type smaller trees, pinecones, etc.
Same here in the Sierras. I add a little moss and pine cones to some of my displays but keep a pared down winter look until the trees outside start to get buds.

Happy New Year, your home is pretty and I love the decor. I have that same Gingerbread House cookie jar and I’m leaving it up through winter. It’s a small investment and I want to get my money’s worth 😂, so I figure it would look cute for Valentine’s day with a pink ribbon 🎀. I have the same white cutting boards, I usually bleach them and they look good as new.

Thankful you are feeling better. I am 73 and take no prescription drugs. I always try to use natural herbs, supplements and things that are good for our body with no side effects. Doctors are way too quick to prescribe drugs ($$$$$) rather than finding and treating the root cause naturally.
