You my friend are by the best when it came to your tutorials and skill cutting different hair types. Then there is the energy and passion for you profession and art. I watched like 4 of your haircut tuts on fades because I personally like the hi top on myself and I feel I mastered it just from watching. When you make the guild lines and get rid of them I find myself knowing what number guard or open/closing of guard before you do it. I have been cutting my 13 year old son's hair all his life, and recently have also been giving him a line-up which looks very good on him (if I can say so myself). The problem is that because he has a natural pronounced widow's peak, this is not a look my wife is a fan of. She is suggesting that lineups for him are a bad idea because they will encourage or lead to baldness or a receding hairline. I call BS on that even though she insists that some barber who cut his hair the one time I was not there said so. Please like this if I'm right or give me a thumbs down if she is. Thanks.
Bs. I’m 25, also have a widows peak. I’m letting my hair grow, my hairline hasn’t moved and I’ve always had my windows peak cut. I see pictures of me when I was 10 and my hairline is identical, I haven’t experienced an ounce of hair loss that I know of.
Bro I have a widows peak and I been in the Army. The worst place to get a haircut. I was 18. I’m 30 now. My hairline is still there. I even grew out my hair and had dreadlocks for 5 years. Went back to waving only 4 months ago. Hairline still there. And the peak. I just don’t let it grow out or the amount of time spent on a tape up is annoying.

Placing the edger in the middle is for perfection to the line. Always start in the middle. Amen, a barber who uses a razor in 2017-18. I have respect for you to use it. WOW, dry cuts? as you said some get it others don't. [I wish you would do a razor cut and more of the use of the tool.]
