I remember shopping there with my mom as a kid
The last Kmart of Ohio. R.I.P
It's sad because, for me, at 56 now, it was such a big deal when the K-Mart's came in to your city. We thought they'd be there forever.
My local Kmart closed in 2018 it was sad cause a pharmacist was hired their a week before they closed and he just got the job and then announced local Kmart was closing. Plattsburgh New York Former Kmart was my local former Kmart it's now a Runnings Farm Supply
It's so sad to see all the Kmart's gone😭 the last one in my area closed in February and I wanted to go but never made it 😭

I had to re-read the details of this video a couple times, because I was taken back by seeing the B friend, but then I saw this video was from 3 years ago, This must have been before you gifted it to Wallie.
Look how long it took Menard's to come into Brooklyn. The super K was demolished and remained vacant for years. Apparently Menard's and the city had trouble getting in an agreement 👀
The farmers market is nice there now.

Maaaaan, I'm really sorry you lost your Kmarts :/. HEY, but you have Meijer and Menards over there and I love those rare stores. I'd trade you the last Kmart we have in MD for one Meijer.
The little label scar was for Western Union that they used to send for people. The covid spots for six feet apart is for the Farmers Market. I have attended that and that is what they are down for for people to wait in line and keep their distance!

I used to work at the Super Kmart in TN before it closed down. Now it's a U--Haul storage :'(
Actually what everyone thinks is the layaway and fitting room signs are still up but they were taken down the letters were torn down they just painted around the letters after they put them up and when we torn down the thick styofoam letters it left the words layaway and fitting rooms since they painted after letters were placed

Good memories. Dad & Mom (both passed now) use to take the family to that Kmart store back in the 70's.

The famous round air vents. This is one of the older Kmarts. My Kmart in Virginia closed in 2014 and yet the blacked-out Kmart sign still stands out front even though At Home moved into the building

Nate, the old Kmart building in my town of Enid, OK got turned into a Harbor Freight and Tractor Plus and seeing as how both JC Penny and Dillard's are gone cause our mall is going to close cause Sears used to be there too. We used to have a Big Lots, but Spirit Halloween took over the empty spot.

Our Kmart in Nashville closed down about 3 years ago. Now I think it's a Amazon prime station where they load the prime vans.

@@ThatNateGuyOnCZcams sad all the kmarts in ohio is gone to hard to believe they had over 200 Kmarts in the state they came from 200 to 0 all thanks to eddie Lampurt the Clown Dick And i might make a list of all the Ohio Kmarts on google docs they had and when they opened and closed i will start today probably i won't due in order when they closed it will be random however surprisingly most nevered Closed until after 2003 Bankruptcy Ohio stores got lucky from the first 2 but not after that they closed alot and if i forget some you can help me.

Reminds me of the one in Brunswick that closed down, so sad use to go there all the time.
And an original building design Kmart once had as I remember as a kid & on up before the modern design. Love this old design as most may not agree. Nice & green there which is what I miss about the north, much better than Texas although I'm not from Texas originally.
i can't believe it closed five months ago. time flies during quarantine.
JCPENNY'S is next!!! chapel hill mall one is the first one i think is summit county closing... they took the one down in seven hills.... only thing stand on all those acres are a lonely BK... that one was my childhood Kmart... where i got my first hot wheels and bike... sad i tell ya..
JOHNJOHN 9111 A Meier is supposedly going to be built on the site of the old K Mart in Seven Hills. I miss K Mart too. And Sears.

Come to NC in Statesville ,NC there is a big Kmart with the sign still up and the lights are still on.the Kmart big k sign is still on the building also.the store closed its doors in December of 2018.
