I like the the attention detail, specifically giving the boarder guards German weapons because of the German training and weapons deal, although it was the kar98k and not the Gewehr but close enough.
For historical accuracy the communists had the same hat as the nationalists with the ROC emblem, not the red star.
The boarder guards with German equipment is wrong wrong too, it should be Japanese equipment. Because the Maco Polo Bridge incident happen in the North East where the local warlord had strong trade ties with Japan with mostly Japanese equipment. Only the ellites of the central army of the KMT, mostly stationed around Nanjing and Shanghai before the outbreak of the war, had German equipments.
