Chris and Maryanne...sorry my spelling may not be accurate. Since you already are in India...maybe you can drive to Pakistan next.
In the northern part of Pakistan, three mountain ranges converge and there are many beautiful valleys, lakes, glaciers, etc. And from the northern border with China, central Asian countries are within a days drive. Maybe there's a special visa just to drive from that border to a central Asian country!
Also central Pakistan, such as, city of Lahore has a lot of Mughal history and architecture. Near Rawalpindi are old ruins of Harappa with Buddhist stupas, etc.
I think you might enjoy the country's diversity and hospitality.
The reason why the nan is fluffy is because it isn't a nan but a paratha....and the reason why the rice doesn't need a curry because it is Biriyani- Sounds like recitation of Quran hence a Muslim restaurant hence edible food
@@JaneWalker-dr3jcsounds like recitation of Quran in resturant
Thank you Bangladesh, Britishers, Communist Party of Bengal and TMC for making Kolkata to this situation. Rest of India is still fine compare to Kolkata, Kolkata is rated the dirtiest city in India.
India is so hot, humid, crowded, noisy & dirty. It makes people crazy...
Thanks for understanding
India is a very big country it has so many cold places like ladakh, kashmir, shimla, manali, north eas india,Darjeeling,Andaman nicobar island, lakshdeep bro.U can visit these places.Chaotic free and pollution free.
Come to Visakhapatnam. I'm sure you'll change your mind.
@@KiranMachirajuwhy? Let them go or not go wherever they like. Come out of the slave mentality and stop trying to please everyone. non-Indians would never suggest what you did. Live life on your own terms.
In india evey city hv old and new area old are bit dirty and less maintained and new are clean and modern
I traveled to India for 18 days. I was in Kolkata too!
I loved it!
you like to live in the garbage..there are women that sleep with their dogs and even have sez with the beasts.
Dirty, crowded, dirty, poor, dirty. You get the picture. Makes my skin crawl!
Welcome to the future, ladies and gentlemen. Per India leaders, this is the next superpower and will be emulated by other countries all over the world.
Agreed 😂😂world has accepted that India will be superpower but with people on its streets strange but would be like that 😂😂
Would never go there last year got stuck in Mumbai for 12 hours in airport disgusting dirty waste of an excuse for their existence

Sometimes it might happen but I never faced this issue ever
India is a shithole on earth... visiting endia is punishment not the vacation
imigration is sending the poor country problems to others,,
Indians said: we must work extra hard or else Shanghai would surpass us in just a few years time. 😂😂😂😂 nice quote and sweet dream.
😆😆
😂😂
😂😂no need of shanghai as they steal everything at least Indians are not thieves 😂😂
😂😂😂 ...and indian medias always mocking at China... India is so dirty...😢😢

Lived in India for 5 years and loved it! Wonderful people, fantastic cuisine and so many sights to see! Many of those powdered paints you get on the street, for Holi, are contaminated with lead and can be pretty bad for you!
Only in India do you get to celebrate Yolo with toxic paint😅

😂😂India is vast man , ask USA they have accepted that this is how it is , we will have to accept the chaos of India and merge with them 😂😂everybody has now done it it’s a experience
It's wide, but the population is too dense, it's the dirtiest country on the planet
My late husband visited Mumbai and Delhi frequently back in the early 2000's. He was jarred by the disparity between the wealthy and the poor. There didn't seem to be any middle class . The people he encountered were always polite and helpful, but the cities were extremely chaotic. Best of luck navigating that madness
I had the same experience as your late husband when I visited in 2011. There's no real middle class.
Then don't come die in your country
That is some baloney, India has the second largest and fastest growing middle class in the world.
@@yerajoker3524 -24 years ago it didnt
@@yerajoker3524 - you could fool me with what Ive seen on numerous vlogs, in various cities throughout India. Doesn't look like its improved at all over the past 20+ years
I loved India, it's people and the food is out of this world, I could walk the streets all day so much going on and something different around every corner. This coming from a country boy who doesn't like cities.
We will be sharing the countryside too !! 😉
ONLY food is good. The rest is garbage and dirty.
That would scare me and create so much anxiety walking though those streets! Thank you for sharing your journey!! ❤
The Sights...The Sounds...The Smells of India...Not to be missed...ThankYou.

India is nuts, certainly an eye opener, good luck with the driving,
What nut😂😂🌰🌰🌰🌰
Different and uncomfortable does not necessarily equate to "nuts".
Having been to India, it is indeed an experience like no other, however, it is not "nuts".

Diarrhea happens with stagnant and rotted things and not running and updating things. These places are pretty lively and fresh. These places in video are old market areas and busiest areas for common people. There are also posh areas where life standard in above high class you think off.
😂😂 don’t eat the street food.

You would eat! The food is fantastic, but you would sweat off the lbs!
😆😆me too!
How come dear , I won’t agree , it has got the best food in the world , just explore and eat at right places . Remember one cannot avoid India irrespective of its flaws , I have accepted this 😂
I envy you for being so courageous and travel all around the globe! You get to see and experience all sorts of great people and things!!!!
India is definitely a work in progress. So much to improve.
You're so polite. 😂😂

Yup.. sooooooo much to improve..

Nope, it's getting worse everyday
I am glad you are showing me Calcutta … they have such a history. Look into their eyes, they have such story telling eyes.
Love an Indian flower market the garlands they make are beautiful
Thank you for so gracefully seeing only the beauty amidst all the filth and dirt, and for trying not to break anyone's heart. Your patience in delicately describing the problems we've faced in my country before is truly admirable. I sincerely thank you. Love from Fethiye, Turkiye
90% of india is like this bro
Is this the case of China under the Indian media?
gaubarrrrrrr bhai, what a disgusting culture
Wow! That was really something. Looking forward to the rest of your adventure in India.
Utter chaos. I don't mind some dirt here and there, but this is off the radar. But the people are so lovely and friendly.
One of my friends from Florida who visited Mumbai a few years ago on a business trip, told me how he saw a man took a dump on the street from his hotel room! Needless to say, he never went back there!
There's a lack of toilets and the Indian government is trying to massively improve things.
Common sight among the homeless in the US, step out of your shell first.
😂😂😂India is land of contrasts
@@TedH71 …the government built public toilets but some of the population refused to use them…
I saw that happen on 5th Avenue, NYC.
Rocking it like the locals crossing the road.

Chilling with an early morning beer before bed, ready for tonights shift.
Safe travels guys.Loving every Sunday.xx
I kept checking your purse & pockets - looking for the stealthy hand of a pickpocket. It looks like you have things pretty well secured. Im amazed that such a poor area uses so many flowers. Here flowers are a rare indulgence unless we grow them ourselves. Im afraid I'd have to have some chai tea. The Byriani & bread looked great!
It's pickpockets that ask for selfies!
So looking forward to your travels in India 👍 !
Love following you guys...... I'm going with my son after the Monsoon.....golden triangle first......can't wait...... Safe travels...
Awesome. Thanks for sharing guys. And I'm with you, can't beat a biriani
Spent a month through, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur in 2016 and I loved my time in India. I appreciate the chaos and the pace of the people who have things to do and go about getting them done. Make no mistake, it is a country on the rise and making great progress. I’ll certainly be returning soon to visit Mumbai and other places. Enjoy your time there. The spirit of the place just makes one feel truly alive.
OMG.. you are so polite.. seriously.. we all know India is filthy.. but Why!!!!!!?😮
Kolkata is such an engaging city, great food and it seems each street has some interesting historical architecture.
What an amazing country, they say you haven’t travelled until you’ve been to India, Im into street photography & it’s my ambition to one day photograph this awesome country & its people..literally a picture on every corner.. safe travels guys 👍
Yes Calcutta is heaven of street photography...and cultural capital of india
Thanks for the tour. I know this is the place I have know desire to visit. I swear some how I had smell-a-vision watching this.
Oh boy! I've always been intrigued with India. I absolutely love the food! The chaos looks a bit overwhelming but I guess that's part of the fun. I don't mind the humble dwellings and shops etc, but, the trash everywhere I don't like. i hope to be there to experience it for myself. Thanks for the introduction and for taking us along. I always love traveling with you. Hang on!
Well its not that chaotic if you live in proper residential areas .
If I were the couple, I would have gone from Malaysia to China enroute to Britain and simply by-pass India. Poor Trudy.
They have shown on their previous videos, they were refused a visa for China, this is the route left for them.
That’s life.
Its called experience mate, they are not there for the luxury
Fortunately, this couple is not young, otherwise it is very likely to repeat the misfortune of the Spanish couple
@@chokolatelatte4764 Why are they refused a visa to China?
G'day good to see you both are safe and well, that place looks very busy and full on, you certainly are going to have fun driving Trudy around there! Cheers and stay safe mate
Not on my bucket list but really enjoyed the realistic tour you took us on. That lunch though looked absolutely delicious!
Loved this video, brought back so many memories. Can’t wait to see you driving around in Trudy!
The people are wonderful. Check out those happy days. They did india in a tuc tuc. Maybe you can get some tips from their vlogs.

it is hot hot summer. this is the best time to explore the mountains Indian Himalayas most beautiful part of India- Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh. Ladakh is other worldly place most beautiful in India and one of the most beautiful in the world.
I’m so excited for your travels thru India!!! It’s going to be nuts but such an adventure. There are billions of people in India so it’s important to get some perspective on how us westerners live. Can’t wait for your next video! ❤

Interesting to see those yellow Hindustan Ambassador taxis. Apparently they were still making them up to 2014.

Did that driver even acknowledge your friendly greeting when you got in?? LOL the selfies are hilarious lol
Just a rouse to remove wrist watches and wallets!
What an experience! When you were overlooking the flower market, what was on the ground everywhere? It looked like paper, but might have been plastic. Where do they house all those people? More please . Hugs from Australia.💖🙏
How extraordinary! What a fantastic peek into Kolkata life! Thanks! xx
Glad you enjoyed it!
The first time i ever got on a plane in 2012 i boarded in Brisbane and landed in Kolkata! I’ve been to India 8 times now. I love it!
Food is the most intimate union with a culture....
Hi guys, wonderful vlog. Was wondering if,in the flower market what do they use the strings of flowers and just petals for🤔 very interesting. Safe travels ❤❤
Temples
Yes they use them at the temples and we have also seen them hung on trucks !!
Strange, brainwashed poor will be kept poor.

Food absolutely amazing in India get in to Thalis fantastic value .
It's a rather fascinating place with a phrenetic hustle and bustle.
Thank you for your wee tour, I so appreciate you two! The streets are definately not for the faint hearted or those with allergies...oy!! The chaos!!!
It is good you do this and share it with us because now I know where not to go. From start of the video I felt aversion for this place.....
One either loves or hates India. I had my down days while traveling there, but I learned a lot and now I long to visit again.
I will never step foot there. The country is one huge garbage dumpster.
All looks a bit overwhelming, & very colourful for certain, loved the flower's, & i could imagine the smell of insence, proper indian curry looked delicious. Looking forward to your next video, goodluck for your next leg of your journey 🙂
Wow thanks for bringing us to india street... it looks difficult life thre but unique at the same time
You both are too kind. I guess it is the British politeness. India ... the beautiful, the good, the bad and the ugly. Oxymoron in itself. Thank you for visiting Malaysia. Stay safe and Blessed journey to you both always.
Incredible India
Thank you that was so atmospheric x 😍
Have a wonderful day in India 🙏❤️
Glad to see relatively little change since I was there in 1995!
They are driving through the old parts of one of the poorest state in India. The country has definitely improved a lot
@@zga3020 While some maintenance might have been desirable I never thought of it in terms of the need for improvement. I love it the way it was and glad such places still exist.
great stuff thank you 👍
If you decide to travel EAST toward GIR eventually , do drop by the CHAMBAL river.. there are many wildlife parks around there and the Chambal river is the only place in the eastern world where you can watch the SKIMMER birds (using their beaks like a trawl net) catch fish amoung wild crocs that are very large.. You can hire a boat to take you real close...
Looking forward to the next par t of your trip.
India actually scares me
Crazy noise 😮 safe travels ❤️

People here know how to adjust to different type of environment. You guys are finicky. And I can assure you that India has everything cheaper, with better quality and easier to get than the what UK has to offer.

Hello from Canada. You are EXPERTS in video editing for story telling. You achieve such natural continuity. What a talent. You make it seem so effortless. It really brings us into the experience. Cheers!
On arrival in India travellers may be presented with garlands of marigolds to wear round their necks. I was told by a guide that the marigold garland was not only a welcome gift but a practical one as the marigolds help to deter flying insects who dislike the strong scent of the marigolds.
Was it hot there while you were there? Left Thailand in mid-February and it was brutal.

The food in India I adored. The western world Indian food is nothing to what u get in India. Since travelling to India I have not eaten the Indian food at home. Stay safe, as it’s one busy country.
No wonder they call it a hell hole.
Before you head to India, I was quite anxious about what you would face. Nevertheless, every experience you encounter will make you more appreciative
Nice to see the Real India
Thank you guys for allowing us to be part of your wonderful journeys, not real impressed with India and can understand why we have a lot of Indians in other countries. Take care, be safe and God Bless you both, now the journey to go back to the start of your adventures, we have just got the two recliner chairs serviced, we have a coffee and tea making facilities set up and we about to take a trip aboard Trudy with Chris and Marianne 👍😇🙏
I find India to be quite chaotic, and I hope that travelling there will still be enjoyable despite the potential challenges.
a person i knew once told me.. if u want to see heaven & hell on earth.. go to india… frm the video u shared.. calcutta is not for the faint hearted… seems like u nd to be alert on ur surroundings.. especially if u r driving… am looking forward to ur drive arnd india’s countryside…. i’m sure it’s much more pleasant to drive there.. snow capped mountains… big valleys etc n of cos the locals living in villages… i imagine colourful houses or traditional costumes… 😅
No these are some of the busiest, dodgiest places. Noboody goes there for a walking tour. Kolkata has sooo much more to offer.
The rubbish is just unbelievable!! I have to tell you my nerves were on high when you guys were driving in this country. I have probably got onto your videos years too late, but really enjoying them.
Sensory overload for sure! On a different note... The car horn is a form of announcing yourself to the world at intersections and basically others around you. Thats why its so noisy there. Unlike the west where people tend to use it less and sometimes for the wrong reasons. The food? I could just imagine the overwhelming varieties too. I've had the chicken biryani and naan bread where I live and love it. I could just imagine out there in it's motherland. Take care and stay safe treading the world.🙏😊
