I put the dumbo RC x4 in my kraton 6s. Really happy with it. The stock radio was slow in the V4 I got tired of that in just a few weeks.

Hello kev you can remove the sticker in the middle of the steering wheel of the dumborc. The steering whell can come out now and remove the plastic wheel and remplace it with a foam wheel and put it back in the radio if you dont like the the palstic wheel/tire

Hey Kevin.. I just recently bought a DumboRC X6 transmitter and receiver.
I tried installing it on my Redcat Gen 8..
Whenever I try turning the steering wheel.. the throttle also goes with it. Like when I turn it to the right.. it'll go forward and when I turn it to the left.. it reverses.
I checked the wirings on the receiver and its correct.
Also it shows red light on the transmitter instead of blue..
Do you know how I can fix it?
I need multiple reciver control, I have heard that the dumborc can be binded with multiple receivers, is that true?
Just bought the kraton 6s can't wait to get home and unbox it. Only problem is the batteries and charger don't show up until tomorrow.

I just got one and trying it in my latrax teton
So the receiver looks the same as my radiolink that has a built-in gyro in it. If so should be able to push that bind button 3 times and the gyro will turn on.

The stx2 has great range and I didn't notice a delay you probably just get used to it

Is it a v4 Typhon? I had one and those came with the STX2 and it was trash. Almost wrecked it when i lost range
I just put the dumbo in my senton 3s and ordered 3 more to put in my Mojave, kraton6s and notorious6s I just went ahead got the remote and receiver deal only 12 more than if I had just got 3 extra receivers the dumbo is so much better even better than a tactic ttx300 I have

I have a dumborc but the rev is forward and normal is reverse. How can I can reset it or inverted back to normal? I need help
Try calibrating it like a futaba. So set the switch to reverse and then when starting to calibrate the first switch is to turn the steering and throttle to normal. Idk just a weird thing I went through with a radio I calibrated a while back (dragonrc)

Kev, do you know how to set failsafe using this dumbo x6f transmitter for nitro car?
I've tried to find out the same thing myself and my conclusion so far is that it only has a neutral failsafe. I have this receiver in my Arrma Granite since the previous owner installed it. In my Nanda BD8 nitro buggy I have a Futaba 3PRKA radio set and it has a fully adjustable failsafe function. I've set it to full brake in my nitro buggy.

@@nils1771 yeah I've wanted one for a while also. I decided to sell a few higher dollar things I had and I put the cash together and finally broke down and got it, Can't say I'm disappointed. Sometimes when you want something bad enough you have to sacrifice other things and just make it happen lol.
What's a good radio upgrade for around $100
I did like it for the 45 minutes it lasted. Gyro went bad, range and reception eventually took a dive. Replaced the receiver and it lasted about a month and it’s now giving me the same problems. Gyro doesn’t work again and range and reception is glitchy and not what it was new. The plastic wheel sucks as well. How hard is it to just put a foam wheel on? Plenty of other brands offer it at the same price point. For 35$ it was a good enough radio and definitely way better than the stock Stx2, but it’s still a cheap piece of junk in my experience. I’ll stick to Futaba. I get like 300 yards on my Futabas easily, and since I can’t see my Rc’s after 100-150 yards, 500 isn’t really a selling point. Although for people that fly and do strictly speed runs, I can see the need.

That's blasphemy that these high-end RC vehicles come with trashy transmitters that's the part you hold in your hand it should be just as nice as the vehicle!
Welp, many of these RC cars are actually quite cheaply made and I imagine they save money where they can get away with it. I definitely agree that an RC car in that price range should have decent stock electronics.

BUT I thought you are smarter - I still hope you are. Your reasoning of doing such life changing move is lacking of value. Disappointed.
