    She's a God. Her mind is a natural wonder. She's spoken about her brain having multiple drawers filled with songs she's composed in her head since she was a child. Too bad they didn't give her a clip on mic so she could use her wonderful gestures more easily .

    The interviewer was so disrespectful cutting her off and looking down when she was answering his questions. Björk is metaphorical in her songs they should have had someone that really knows her music to interview her…

  • @rashmika9742
    @rashmika9742 Před 5 lety +18

    This is crazy, because I visualize music in this way. I have synesthesia, which is when people link two senses (in my case, sound and sight.) it's so helpful to think of music in a visual way because it acts as a shortcut to understanding musicology. It's similar with physics principles or anything in science: you can use analogy to better understand very abstract concepts.
    And this isn't only useful in explaining music, but in explaining science by using music. It's fantastic, because DNA replication and various biological processes are very visual and shouldn't be learnt through a black wall of text. This really is so innovative!

    The gamelan is not "Balinesean", although it is part of Balinese traditional music, many Indonesian cultures have gamelan. The Javanese are famous for it, there's also gamelan from Kalimantan and Sumatra. 'Gamelan' actually refers to the ensemble of instruments. There are different names for them individually.
    Note: I am from Indonesia, and thought that was so funny when he used the term Balinesean. Björk made a cool hybrid.

While we are just chasing behind her❤. That's why she seems weird to people who don't understand her work., cause she's never contemporary. She's always Ahead.😊

      Yeah. It's so messed up how they are interviewing all these creative artists but right when the artist really starts showing us their nind, the interviewer cuts them off with "yeah, but let's talk about .." Like when in an interview years ago she was talking about a concert tour she was doing at that time and this dude interrupted her with "let me ask you something. Is your little girl personality really you or is it an act?" and she stayed silent for a few seconds, visible upset and responded that she was really tired of people turning her into a caricature. Not everyone can do an interview but maybe if they learned to listen, they would be better at it.

    Ooof, a lackluster reception from the audience after Mr. Attenborough's bright and so positive an introduction. Nobody asked, but I don't share Mr. Attenborough's positivity - I'm now certain that humanity, even knowing they invite their own demise through their lack of collective change, straggle on for the latest TV. Just please remember, all of us, that after we've shot ourselves in our collective foot, yes it was our own fault.
