Their name is synonymous with computer animation. Theyâve tackled everything from toys to superheroes. Theyâre guaranteed to tug on your heartstrings. Who else could be the subject of todayâs video other than Pixar? Over the years, the animation studio has put out some of the most beloved and successful animated movies of all time. Just like Disney, theyâve managed to make movies that have spanned generations, with adults loving their work just as much as kids. With such a huge audience of fans, it should come as no surprise that people have a lot of opinions when it comes to Pixar. And we mean, a lot! Some are relatively common to hear, others are a bit more unpopular, but of them all, which ones do we love, and which can we just not stand?

I do feel like this has to be said, but most franchises exist nowadays to sell merchandise. Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, Pokémon, Minions, ETC. This is really the only reason why they still go hard in the present day.
However that doesnât mean that it is necessarily a bad franchise. As long as it has heart behind it, then it is a good franchise regardless of what happens.

I did have Cars toys when I was a kid.
The reason why pixar makes sequels is because of their fans based on character popularity, and fan questions take toy story 3 and 4. Almost everyone was asking what happened to go peep?. And due to high demand we got our answer through toy story 4. So due to the popularity of dory and mator we got sequels based around their character. That's how Pixar works. They listen to demand and their fans in general.
But the 4th movie was unnecessary just to answer a simple question. They could have just made a short to explain what happened and that's it

@@Rawdawgvideos I mean it ruins all character development and it doesn't make sense. First of all, Woody was not a lost toy. Bonnie didn't lose him, he left. Second of all, Bonnie does play with Woody, just not as often. Last week she played with him for 3 days and she even played with him during the montage. 3rd of all Bo Peep has a very different personality, she would never want Woody to stay. During the first movie, she saw much a toy means to a kid. I heard the real reason why Woody left was so that they can make the spin-off on Disney+ in other words they sold out. You know maybe they should have kept the original ending to Toy Story 4 where Bo finds a kid and becomes her toy.

Which Family Guy Character Would Win Squid Game?
Onward is underrated. It had a creative premise, well-done character arcs, a moving bond between the brothers, and a protagonist that realistically grows more confident and capable in his magic use over time. How could you not get teary-eyed at "I never had a dad, but I always had you"?
As for the Pixar Theory: I don't completely believe it myself, but I appreciate the creativity and dedication of fans who do. Let's not put down anyone for believing in it, OK? People theorize because they love the movies, and who can fault that?
And Toy Story 4.... I highly recommend everybody check out GamingMagic13's series of videos "How Toy Story 4 Destroyed Everything."

Unpopular Opinion: When it comes to the Pixar films released in 2020, I prefer Onward over Soul, as I was more mixed on the latter.
Merida is the only Pixar character that is the 11th Disney Princess from Brave (2012).
I was disappointed with Lightyear and I thought the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command tv series was better.

I have a feeling that even Pixar themselves don't want to support The Pixar Theory. So recently they've tried to make movies where they can't be connected with their other movies what so ever. Onward is one recent example where it is its own world and history, and some details like having multiple moons prove that Onward does not take place on earth. Another one is Lightyear, where Pixar literally made it as a movie inside of the Toy Story universe. But I have heard some nonsense claims that Lightyear is real life and not a movie (in the Pixar universe). Like wut?! Pixar Theorists will always find a way to excuse how a new movie fits in to a connected Pixar universe, no matter how much the movie contradicts The Pixar Theory idea.
The Pixar Theory is dumb, it makes no sense, and it has ruined online conversations because some people like to take this seriously. Like Super Carlin Brothers. I have stopped watching their channel long ago, because they just keep milking The Pixar Theory, and insisting it is canon. It's a theory, not a fact!
I donât personally believe Iâm the Pixar theory, but I enjoy watching people try to connect the movies together.
I agree that the Pixar Theory is stupid and Bobsheaux did an excellent job explaining why it doesnât make sense.

I think that the idea of living in the same universe of Pixar is real. But I do believe that this theory isnât the best theory of the idea of all the movies being in the same universe.
This is only my speculation, and I might be wrong about some of the placements here, but if Wickedbinge does a League of Super Pets characters dumb to brilliant, I think they are going to put Lulu near the top, her plan almost succeeded and it took all of the Super Pets working together and Kryptoâs Solar Paw Punch to defeat her. Keith and Mark will probably be near the bottom since they seem to follow Luluâs orders without question until she makes it clear that she is going to kill the Justice League then they change sides.
Lex Luther probably loses a few points because he saw what Lulu and her Guinea Pig army could do and yet when she frees him he betrays her and this pride of his almost gets him killed along WITH the Justice League by her. I canât say much about Superman or the Justice League since I didnât see them in action that much, and Lois Lane actually didnât get into trouble too much this time, so major points I guess.
Of the Super Pets Merton might be the lowest, then Chip, PB in the middle Krypto second best, and Ace would be Top dog. These are just my guesses and reasonings why I think they would place them in those positions.

My thoughts on these opinions
TS 4. I agree that this was unnecessary but I do like how nicely Woody and Bo Peepâs relationship was tied up.
I like Pixarâs and Disneyâs offerings equally but I do agree that Pixar has more original offerings. I agree with what you said about the consistency of the films.
Pixar Sequels Finding Dory was mediocre & so was Incredibles 2. TS 3 is the most powerful sequel.
Also Inside Out 2 was announced at the D23 expo. Who else agrees?
Incredibles 2 I agree! I want to see a spin off that either focuses on Tony and Violetâs relationship or a backstory of Edna or Frozone.
I did not care much for Monsters University. I thought it was dull. Maybe because I have been out of college for 12 years so I canât relate to the plot.

A couple of things I notice about this video:
1) You didn't mention "Turning Red" at all in this list . Why? There were many divided opinions about this film, including a ridiculous one from critic John Enter about it being connected to 9/11. It doesn't.
2)I'm glad you didn't mention "Lightyear's" same-sex kiss controversy. That one had too much negativity.
3)"Inside Out" didn't get hardly a mention either. It must have been one of Pixar's perfect movies.
4) The one subject I hate the most: That Pixar is superior to Illumination Animation. It's just plain unfair. Illumination has many critics & trolls, it's true, but they made good films, so they don't deserve the bum reviews.

Dreamworks Opinions We Love And Hate
I love videos like this, but most of them seem to be opinions based on the movie and not enough on the company as a whole. One of my favorite unpopular opinions is that I find the more outlandish ideas more intriguing than most movies starring a human character. Pixar got their start making lead characters out of toys, bugs, monsters, vehicles and even marine life. Once they were able to write human leads, it only got samey with other animation studios.
In addendum, I don't want to downplay Pixar movies with human leads but they're not as good as everyone thinks they are. Movies like Up, Coco and Ratatouille are too standoffish with their nuanced themes and storytelling. Coco is by far the worst of them because it makes light of domestic abuse and deflects Miguel's pain with the injustice to his great grandfather. I would like to create discourse about Coco the most, because a lot of poeple liked the film. I didn't! I thought it was a very uncomfortable experience!

Frikn love monsters university. I had birthday party were I had a Mike wasowsky cake when I was 4 years old
For what it's worth, Encanto, the newest Disney movie, was pretty fresh and unexpected, giving us the disneys song that surpassed let it go in popularity, We Don't Talk About Bruno! Nobody was expecting that. Also, compared almost every other animations studio, both Disney and Pixar movies always seem to remain fresh and top tier, where as films by other companies seem to covering with the same formula with a new code of paint and a good animation to hide behind its rehashed story beats. For these reasons, I disagree with the opinion that Pixar movies are better than Disney movies, because I think that both of them are on the same page in quality, originality, and brightening our lives. I hope to get into professional animation someday, and it is my hope that I can produce animated films or TV shows that are on par with the sophistication of these two outstanding studios.
