- So I put this off for far longer than I should have. I really didn't want to stop wearing the jacket for a day or two. But I'm happy I finally did my first cold soak of my Brave Stare Selvage Ironside jacket. Let's check it out.

I feel like if you size down you'd be able to fit it over a thin hoodie. It looks a little big on you? I may be wrong but judging by what I see in your video.
@@alexkishkovich7806 the sleeves are a bit long, but I am happy with the size in the body. I can layer well and still have full range of motion. Plus the chest and back measurements would have been too small for me if I went with the medium. A couple of years ago, I could have gotten away with a medium as my chest was a bit smaller, but I’ve always had a big chest. I inherited that from my grandfather….. but I made a good lineman when I was a kid.
Trucker/denim jackets definitely seem to be your type of bag but would you ever try to get your huckberry contact to send you some relwen blazers for you to thoroughly review?
Possibly in the future. But it’s not really my bag. So I wouldn’t wear them in my day to day life. I try to keep to to things I will wear. But if there is enough interest, I’ll give it a shot.
Hmmm my Ironside XL was too small in the forearm and now the XXL i have seems a little big. I may try the hot soak. Figured since it was sanforized it wouldnt do anything.
They are different denim, but I have seen from multiple sources that sanforized will shrink a bit. So you can try to soak in some hot water. When I dye backpacks, I put them in a cooler. The insulation keeps the water hot well past the hour or so soak time. I still had heat after an over night soak last pack I dyed in boiling water.
If you're going to use a bin and film this you need a white or clear one.
I picked up a clear one the next day. I realized saving a few bucks wasn’t worth it.
I want an Ironside pretty bad, but i already have 2 type 3 jackets. Both are blanket lined. One blue denim and one in brown canvas. I'll live vicariously through you because my wife would kill me.
Well... you need one for late spring... you NEED an unlined in your life!
