My Biggest Bayou Bass!

- In this video I fish at a local bayou with my friend Brandon for bass, gar and anything else that we can catch. We were both using crappie tubes and caught a bunch of different species including gar, bass and red-ear sunfish. The bayous are really low right now so the water is clear and most fish can be sight fished. Let me know if you want to see more bayou videos!!

U can use a cast net a couple bridges back from where you were to catch shad for catfish bait
You see those slopes on the side that keeps it from overflowing because it could be raining like 2 miles away from there and those storm drain pipes could be flowing a lot

Tighten your drag! Reeling in while the drag is going off will intensely twist the line as it's spooled.

That is a shitwater feedlot runoff canal, built by the ACE. Notice that its dead straight for as far as you can see either direction, and the feces and fertilizer filled sludge water is moving pretty well in it. Not a bayou. Not even close. Ask Webster's. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bayou
Joe Blazer these are bayous. They have been dredged and cemented for flood prevention. Houston is the bayou city. They are working to return them to their natural state and beautify them but whether you agree or not they are bayous.

up here we use those small crappy rigs to nail smallmouth and walleye. the ones you were using mimic our crawdads and that's exactly how we fish them.
