I get to see her again this year at Essence Festival in LA for the second time and I am seeing Usher for the first time and we are looking forward to it. I feel like back in the 90s she was ahead of my time because I was still a kid back then but I would have loved to see her in the 90s when she was in her prime.

Janet is amazing… but people please realize that Miss Jackson isn’t 21 anymore , she is almost 60 . Energy level is a little different now but she still slays!!
I think the energy is still there. I missed out on Janet in the 90s and 80s because she was before my time (I was a kid in the 90s) but I am glad I get to see her in concert this year for the second time (first time was in 2019). IMO performers from Janet's generation had real solid talent that is timeless. You will not find a new artist with half the energy present day even though they are in their prime.
I tell you Janet works her butt off. She was way bigger than this a few months ago. I wondered how she would look performing after the weight gain. But she worked it off. Granted it’s not young bodied Janet but she still has it. Much respect! 💯👏🏽👍❤️🙏🏽
Actually if you look at the rhythm nation tour 1990 and the Janet. Tour 1993. She only hit the chorus choreography once for the entire song. She did the same here.For the velvet rope tour and all for you tour she didn’t even do any miss you much choreography
