Hi, Char! Absolutely love your content! Quick question: does the Hourglass Veil powder preform similarly to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders? Those are the only powders I've found that don't leave me looking cakey or cause my foundation to look too dry (even when I use hydrating products). I've tried every combination of foundation and powder I can think of and nothing else works. Problem is, the Ambient Lighting powder can tend to look a little too illuminating when all I want is to set my face and have it look as much like skin as possible. Help!!
Thanks so much!!! This information really does help. As I've gotten older (I'm 40), I've noticed my makeup just doesn't wear the same as it did even 2 years ago. Maybe I need to find the right primer for my skin, as well. Once I can combat this dreadful melasma I got as a parting gift of pregnancy, I'm hoping to go back to using only light coverage foundations, like my beloved Laura Mercier candlelight Glow or Guerlain.
