So glad I found your channel, I just turned 50 and very few you tubers are in my age range. I love this foundation on you! It looks very pretty and natural, with a little bit of powder it would be perfect. I'm buying this next time I'm at Target!

The directions state to use your fingers or the sponge and not to use the brush bc brushed definitely leave strokes and smear or leave dragging marks.

Well it Just so happens that it looks very nice on you! It did oxidize quickly unless your tan shows through it. You may not think your face is tan but it is definitely tan.... just not as much as the rest of your skin. I think this makeup is not going to hide your skin color. I would like to order it but don't know what shade but after seeing it on you I definitely want to☺ Subscribed...!

Does the tint in EltaMd Elements transfer on clothes?

I really like this foundation. It’s so lightweight on the skin and gives a nice glowy finish. I do have super dry skin. I’ve heard people with oily skin don’t like this foundation.

I love it! I love very lightweight foundations... it look natural and not patch on my dry skin. Skin type: ultra dry skin Do not recommend for oily skin.

We are the same age, so I’m so thrilled I came across your Channel, finally someone that’s not in their early 20’s & Full of Botox & Fillers!! Not that I am against Botox & Fillers, Lord knows I definitely need to start getting touched up again 💉🙋🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I love 💕 that I can truly see how a foundation & other cosmetics wears on someone’s skin type that’s similar to mine & same with our age range as well!! Thank you for this video! I have literally spent days - like multiple chunks of hours that add up to over 24 - researching vitamin C serums. I hated skinceuticals because it made me smell like a hot dog. It was gross. I don’t mind suffering for youth and beauty, but it lingered with me all day everyday. I then learned about THD and that it doesn’t stink, so I bought Ghost Democracy’s “lightbulb vitamin C serum”. It was way too oily to use in the morning because sunscreen and makeup ontop was just too much. So i tried using only at night, but vitamin C is best in the day because its like a shield to the oxidants we are exposed to out and about during the day. However, I broke out with some mad acne around my chin and jawline after about the third week of using it, so that was the end of my trial with that. However, it was a really great C formula - potent THD C concentration and lots of other goodies and no stink. The oil was just too....well....oily. So i began researching for a third time and ran across good formulas but there was always an issue of some sort- too oily, doesn’t list percentage, stinky, or only l ascorbic and no THD. I saw a review for truth treatment’s C but was afraid to drop so much money. But since I have seen your review and there’s no other alternative that had negatives in my book, other than Vitabrid C12 powder, I’m going to pull the trigger on truth treatments C. (I can’t find really good independent Vitabrid reviews- they are all sponsored or just discussed but not really personally tried by the reviewer.)

I have this, you have to use a small amount and use other cream products. My skin soaks up that oily look really fast as I am usually dehydrated skin type

I think you need to set this foundation with powder. Otherwise it turns into a greasy mess!

I got a too light color, too. It was all I could find. I’m hoping I can fix it will bronzer. I’m going to try it when I go in to work tomorrow (today lol 3am here). I do have adult acne (punishment for not having much as a teen). I’m hoping it will cover it.

I am trying Amazing Cosmetics concealer right now and I am thinking I really like it. I am very fair, very dry and crepey/wrinkled. I think it makes my Undereye look smooth and it has very good coverage. BTW, I agree with all of your concealer reviews/ranking in this video!

Hi, Char! Absolutely love your content! Quick question: does the Hourglass Veil powder preform similarly to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders? Those are the only powders I've found that don't leave me looking cakey or cause my foundation to look too dry (even when I use hydrating products). I've tried every combination of foundation and powder I can think of and nothing else works. Problem is, the Ambient Lighting powder can tend to look a little too illuminating when all I want is to set my face and have it look as much like skin as possible. Help!!
