@@grade3328 dark soul is also about memorisation, not strategy. Memorisation isn't fun. Strategy is fun, trust me. Way better than turning a game into an exam.
But that aside, that doesn't change that people suck. It's not fun to suck. People are fighting the end boss and have no clue how to play. That's pretty bad.
It might be a skill effect to be at that low health I honestly am to lazy to check if that exists

The Allmother's ultimate is a mix of all the ultimate moves of the final Bosses of the game he directed (Amatsu, Ahtal-Ka and Thunder Serpent Narwa).
I love this guy.
I get the Ahtal-Ka part, and the Big Yellow Thunder Orb must be Narwa's...but Amatsu? If your talking about the small blue spark, that's Sapphire of the Emperor if anything, which is Safi'jiiva's Ultimate.

Not really? Those spinning pillars are still pretty easy to dodge, and i take he only used it to save time since superman dive cover a lots more distance in rise.
But getting close by charging sidestep is also doable and provide one extra charge.
@@juiteko8375 yeah! You might right. But it’s so scare to me because by only one hit almost half of hp bar disappear and have died so many times by using wirebug after got hit.
So I think it’s safest way for me.

@@fishsohorny yeah, when you're in one hit KO mode for the whole fight you probably don't want to risk losing time or even the run to a bad dragonator pattern. I thought the use of leap of faith here was pretty interesting.

I just finally started playing rise because it took me almost a year to get a switch…I haven’t seen these monsters yet, but everything about this is beautiful. The way the monsters move, the music, their attacks. I can’t wait to do this quest!

I always get Magnamalo to show up for this fight, didn't even know Teo was an option.
The one time it happened for me i was beyond hyped

I once got kushala daora
I was confused when I found this out, seeing as how kushala and teostra are not involved in the rampage and stuff. I only got magna because I killed narwa in 2 tries.
That first one, all with the default arrows. All of it… fantastic!
When Vycery beats Narwa before "Proof of a Hero" could finish even once.

As a Lance main I like watching videos where people get crazy damage numbers for the funsies even knowing Lance's damage output is doodoo trash in comparison to the top weapons.
I still love the Lance because of the playstyle.
Man nice to read that, I play Bow but nowhere near those damage spikes and I play Gunlance which neither can do that sort of consistent damage but is fun as hell. Bein said that I already have seen many huge damage speedruns with Lance and since I don't main it I am not sure how they were playing but you should check searching for pros using Spear
idk man the smiple charge seems to do heaps when i played it just ping ponging the charge, whats this block and poke?
I actually main LS untill narwa came. I forcefully switch to lance cuz i think its good to play safe and im glad i did it cuz it may not have the greatest animation atk but it makes me feel so safe and i manage to less cart.
tbf lance tdo is also pretty good if you use it right. Charge attack can be devastating as hell, I know it from my experience. You just need right build and some boosts

2:05 I'm I the only person who's never seen this because my logic was always "Oh Ibushi is really weak right now, I should kill him so I don't have to fight both of them at the same time". So I always just gunned down Ibushi with a machine gun.

@@Imasquidx I had no clue what happened. I thought I just killed him and she absorbed the left over bio energy, kinda like Xeno. Didn't expect her to just suck his soul out. Kinda hope we get an Ibushi the Allfather at some point. Ibushi always felt like a lil bitch. Want to see him pop off.

@@purplecat4582 yeah to be fair I did only finish it once. I kinda think from now on I will solo on my first time. I feel like when the updates come up you can tell a lot of people have been carried through the game and always cart 3 times.
@@thehillza I've had teams that failed 5 times today; with Dang insurance. I only died once in total. People need to learn how to use that farcaster when things get too spicy.
Biggest flex: purposefully taking massive damage and still takes down Narwa without healing, knowing they’re plenty of chances he could’ve used the healing bug
healing would be a dmg loss because of the buffs
They do it on purpose to get heroic and adrenaline buff
as a bow main I am jealous of those big juicy numbers, but i'll never dare to play with heroics so they are only a dream.

The damage of the bow is fucking ridiculous. With one shot it does the same amount as a full burst of the GL, but in a fraction of the time
Yes and you only need like 2% HP left and the proper element for the monster...

@@nibwhipdragon he’s using valstrax armor. You keep dragon element while dragon blighted from the armor. And it gives 10% raw while active. Plus the set gives resuscitate so another 20 atk. Why do people think they would make an armor that boosts element damage when using its matching weapon but cancels all elements?
devs don't know how to balance weapons, it's very very laughable
The fact that this person made it with that ridiculously low amount of health makes this even more impressive
being at very low health is needed to activate Heroics and massively increase your damage, this was the "tactic" used on this time attack.

no damage wouldn't be too hard if you are being careful - especially with wirebugs - this games options to quickly GTFO are just so numerous - not a whole lot of attacks that are just completely unavoidable and because there aren't areas of just straight poison clouds - even a no damage run wouldn't be as interesting of difficult as world's was

@@nharviala I think it's very low chance for others to show up I tried to finish this quest multiple times(noob me and random teammates lol) and I've seen teostra and kushala only once

The pillar attack always kills me so I was wondering what kind of strat you'd use to dodge it...I never thought a leap of faith was it haha, at least now I know where the safe spot is because before I'd go to the edges and get my ass handed to me
Alternatively you can run outwards at first, and then wirebug to the middle. You may get hit once but use wirebug fall to keep getting to the middle. You should survive and have time to heal back up.
But it's a stupid attack and I hate it too.
@@frego24 lol, if i get hit by pillars due to bad timing, I'm farcasting right out of there.
my strategy is to wait for the attack in the middle to end and then just carefully roll to the middle if i get hit ill just stay on the ground and then roll to the middle when my hunter automatically gets up
@@frego24 I kept trying that at first but I kept getting hit everytime I used the wirebug, then decided to go back to camp when she used the attack so I don't cart and fail the hunt for the others haha. I'll have to practice on my own to get the hang of it
@@xenorayy I found that using Adamant Charge Slash on the great Sword is useful in that attack, don't know what weapon your using, but using that is nice since you avoid the knockback, tank the dmg, and get more hits off. For other weapons I think doing the run away jump could also work if you time it right since the attack draws you in naturally, otherwise the safest is going back to camp, though theoretically since the dragonators don't reach the very edge of the arena in some sections you could run to the edge wire bug up into the air and just hang there waiting for the attack to end.

Well they aren’t exactly using swords that much but the bow is kinda similiar to Chiron or Atalante’s style

This fight was so much harder than xeno for me, he had less health but dealt so much faster more damage
This fight is prob the second hardest fight in Rise imo, second to Valstrax.

a question of mine, how did narwa get to that hole if the hole was closed? And how did the hole that she made in the original end get repared?
The way I’m guessing it happened (key word is guess) is that the people of Kamura patched it and Narwa never actually left, that cutscene in the beginning might’ve just been an animation of how Minato and Hinoa heard it or interpreted what they were trying to do (they being Narwa and Ibushi)? Again, just a guess I have no idea how it really all fits together. I just know they said before this update that they were both still alive and that they suspected they’d try and unite but it seems to me that Narwa never “really” left the hole

First, Magnamalo:
He feeds off of the rampage right? What better way to get his fill on all that energy than to go to the source. He goes there expecting to find a bunch of monsters to eat, but instead finds Narwa. He runs away after you wyvern ride him because he knows he’s outmatched.
Teostra and Kushala:
Same reason as from world. The elders can sense powerful energy radiating from an area. It’s why they were all almost exclusively in the elders recess. Because of Xenojiiva’s energy. Same thing here
Best I can figure narwa used her power over magnetism to seal the hole and waited there to recover and ibushi was just standing guard until she gave birth

They managed to make an already amazing final boss even greater and a lot more challenging.
The Allmother is possibly the greatest final boss of the whole series; it topped even Ahtal-Ka, Dalamadur and Nakarkos, which were my favourites until now.
Really? I think their whole design is a bit weird. The dragonator attack is super strong and easily kills you, but all of the other attacks are super easy to dodge (especially the thunder-ring attacks). Also it's weird that actually killing them seems like less of a deal story wise than the first ibushi and narwa fights.
These bosses are garbage, design-wise, they're basically weird Amatsu reskins

First time you always get Magnamalo.
When you repeat the quest, it can randomly appear Magnamalo, Kushala Daora or Teostra.
Wait you can put a layer on the weapon to make it look different? Also what build are you using, it looks fun
