So you get any leaks between the two boxes? I have one and I get a trickle of water into the ext from the bulkhead. As if the int box doesn’t seat properly
It’s a 20L sump. 3 sections, skimmer (left) then fuge (middle) then return (right). Lights are T5, 6 bulbs, in a diy canopy. I’m all about budget too.
I'm about to put this overflow box on the 75 Aqueon as well. How has it been since you have been running it?

No I've not had any issues with leaks.
I'm about to set up a 75 gallon tank. I'm interested what size your sump is? Also your light set up? This looks like a good budget build.
