There are so many things that is unique to this legend of legends, thá it becomes unreal.
I mean just the way she begins her performances is unmatched, as she holds her auduence's attention from the beginning , not to mention her amazing control, unmatched tone and the way she wraps her vocals around melodies. She is also the greatest story teller, which helps to keep her audience fully engaged.
Her beginnings to songs done live and even her recordings are so impressive that the only thing her audience can say is " tell me more". Her facial expressions are always perfectly aligned with the story telling!
There has never been ,and will never be another vocalist like Whitney "the voice" Elizabeth Houston full stop, so other singers, my mrssage to you is simple: stop trying !!

Whitney was the greatest in her prime that's for sure. She sang this song live at the 1988 summer Olympics. Some recommend Whitney songs are Miracles, So Emotional, I wanna dance with Somebody, I will always love You, All at Once, The greatest love of All, All the man that I Need, You're still my Man, Didn't we almost have it all and I know him so Well(duet with her mom).

“Is that Michael Phelps??” Lol. Michael was born in 1985. The Olympics was in 1988, he would have been 3 years old. Lol. This video showed the talented and gifted Flo Jo, Greg Louganis, Matthew Biondi and other American athletes. I watched this when it aired and I was in awe, Whitney is, was, and will forever be the greatest vocalist of all time. The golden standard. The Voice. She’s the only singer that gives me goosebumps every single time-EVERY SINGLE TIME- when I hear her. You should react to her live performances like I Am Changing (San Francisco audio only), He, I Believe (Japan 1990 audio only) Eternal Love (audio of the recording when she was 16yrs old, How Will I Know (AMA 1986), A Quiet Place, One Song, All The Man I Need (Arsenio Hall or Japan performance where she’s in a red dress not to be confused with the performance in Welcome Home Heroes). One of the most amazing things about her is that she never sang a song the same way twice. There was always something different. Like her performance of Ain’t No Way (Washington DC 1997), she let the background singer sing the high notes at the end by herself but in another performance Whitney took over the high note and she sounded so angelic. I watched it both times back in October 5th and again October 7th 1997. There’s very few live tv performances of Whitney that I missed, maybe once or twice because of school or work-however would have someone record it. My parents were sometimes upset but they knew if I missed a performance it was not gonna be good for the household lol.
There will NEVER be another Whitney Houston. It breaks my heart that she married Bobby Brown. RIP WHITNEY

Can any singer's voice fill a stadium or concert hall likr Whitnet can do? The answer is simply no!
Also, note she has no back up singers or dancers, but creates maximum excitement on stage. What is more significant is that she does not have to do much to get an audience in the palm of her hands. Just give her a microphone, a nice dress, matching shoes and she just stands there and delivers unmatched vocals which is simply magic!
Are there other great singers? Of course there are and will be in the future! But can they or will they do it like her. I say never. She is,simply put, in a class of her own and has no equal as a vocalist!!
