For those who hate the reboot - give the new show a chance . We all still fans of the original show but now it is something refreshing . I will always keep watching the Original show but i can enjoy the new show too. More thing ,i prefer to remember phebe , piper , pru and page as they used to be .
Me too. But i gotta tell you soething. I watched the reboot then i watched the 8 season of the original and stoped at the 3rd episode cuz while watching it the only thing i could hear Mel's voice in my head. Interesting right. I love the reboot

I feel bad for them because I'm sure they've gotten loads of flack. BUT they constantly undermined the original show, claimed this new one was updated, modern, 'feminist' and boldly admitted to not having seen it because they would have been 'really young'. And to top it all off, it lacks witty, smart dialogue and appealing characters.
Being too young isn't an excuse to not do ya homework lol I was a year old when the show came out 😂😂 obviously I couldn't watch it. But I watched all seasons when I was 12, 15 and 17 lol yup 3 times all over again. I bet they haven't even seen an episode and they're working on it. That's sad and dumb.
We begged for a show with the next generation. Wyatt Chris and Melinda. It would have had built in audience. I’ve been in fandom 18 years. The girls could have popped in from time to time. That’s why I can’t support it. They disrespected us and didn’t care what we wanted to see. I think a next generation would have been the way to go unless all 4 or 3 would have done something like a limited run on Netflix. Like Gilmore Girls. I’m not here for this. So disappointed in CBS for doing this to us.

I want to give it a chance but honestly why didn't they just do a new show, like a lot of the ideas from charmed came from the Wiccan faith so it wouldn't be completely copying the show. Saying it's a reboot and changing basically every aspect of the show has just screwed them over completely. Probably won't make it past season 1 based on that fact alone.

I've seen the trailer, wasn't thrilled. I haven't seen the pilot, if it's available for public view can someone point me in the right direction to see it? I'm willing to give the show a chance because I'm not the type to say something fails just because it's not what I grew up on, and I think the original is better. I can't get much out of the trailer, but I typically know if I'm going to like a show after the pilot. I hope the show succeeds, but I'm not holding my breath.

When they revealed this over a year ago I didn’t get very excited as an original Charmed fan and seeing this interview confused me a bit initially as the scant facts I knew are outdated. I didn’t realize that this was considered a reboot and they would use terms like the charmed ones as it was originally more like a prequel set in the 70s. The fact that they changed that and made it an actual reboot set in the present day is something I’m only just now learning about due to my initial disinterest. On one hand the fact it was set in the 70s was a negative point to me as while I have enjoyed modern made shows set in the past I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy it and it’s why I didn’t keep up with the news about the show. On the other hand I don’t like the idea of a reboot because while in retrospect the original had its corny moments I will always love it so I don’t like seeing it sorta replaced by this version. I doubt it will do as well partially because I’m not amazed with what I’ve seen so far and partially because the original felt more groundbreaking. Strong female characters aren’t as unique now and supernatural themed shows aren’t a rarity either. I am a tiny bit excited but the dumbest thing to be disappointed over is the fact one character is in a sorority & still in college. While Phoebe as well as Paige had their immature moments in the beginning the original cast is going to seem more mature and level-headed by comparison.

Charmed Reboot never replace Original Charmed that started 1998 and ended 2006 but I hope they make this good serial and kick some demons asses! I love Original Charmed Ones but this I don't know yet maybe I actually going to like, depends on how they get through each other in the series!
She said she is a fan of original shows, the middle girl in another interview said she only saw the pilot of the orginal. How can you honor the original when you can't even talk about the history. I will watch to see but very skeptic this is going to be CHARMED
They just announced the same thing is happening to Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Hollywood can't figure out anything original anymore so they are recycling old loved shows. I feel bad for charmed fans right now, because I am feeling really at odds with the Buffy Reboot News.
It was stated earlier in this interview they were all fans of the original show. Then the girl on right in black with zombie face who is the feminist ome was like WOW when it was stated that the original charmed has mermaids and unicorns.

The problem with a charmed reboot without the cast, and the reason why I refuse to watch it is because it doesn’t make sense. These girls are not related to Melinda, which is where the charmed girls came from. It’s not like many charmed girls existed. That’s what made the charmed ones sacred and one of the reasons why they couldn’t inevitably give up their destinies because then the power would shift and evil would get the upper hand. It’s also one of the reasons why I’m sure a bunch of fans are infuriated. When people say “they’re not taking anything away from the original show” I’m sorry they are. It basically ruined the story of the original.
the pilot was so weird. the girls (mostly maggie but mel too kind of at the end) accepted macy into the family quickly when they just met her... piper and phoebe didn’t even accept paige that quick. it took these girls one episode and they’re already like “OMG! WE’RE SISTERS!” like dude...

They are really lovely and i think is so amazing that two latin woman and a black woman are the main characters and i know all the episodes of Charmed and i didnt like the trailer but that's writters fault not them but who know maybe they listen the fans more and i hope the show will be more feminist and more aesthetic vibe like the first season but i want to give them an oportunitie.

It's kinda BS that they just said they were fans of the original Charmed... They have stated in other interviews that they never saw it because they were all too young. Even I was, but I started to watch it when I was six years old. They looked pretty shocked when the interviewer said the original Charmed had ALL creatures and kinds of evil to fight. A fan would know that. And if they are picking people as siblings.. two of them are latinas (the ones with pink and black dresses) and one i british african (green dress).. And the older latina girl (the one in black) doesn't look like the others at all. Funny enough... the former disney latina girl looks then more like the british african..

What I’ve been wishing for was a sequel. Chris & Wyatt’s lives, Page and her family; What has Aunt Phoebe been up to. With the original cast making cameos. This just looks like a Charmed pitch starting over from step one.
