- He failed to graduate from broadcast school. He was kicked off the air in Stockton California for running an Eldrige Cleaver look-a-like contest. He once called a Cleavland McDonalds during his radio show in that city and ordered 1200 hamburgers to go. When he finally made it into New York he missed his second day on the air because he as in a hotel room dead drunk. Despite this bizarre behavior or maybe because of it, he was voted billboard disc-jokey of the year. Recently he’s taken his cast of looney radio characters like the Rev. Billy Sol Hargis to the night club stage, and just to give you an idea of how he’s doing he opened up at New York’s Jimmy’s Night Club for a one week run and they held him over for the entire summer. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome an outrageously funny man and good friend of mine Don Imus.

Imus was a certifiable genius-Still miss him to this day.
Imus....in the morning. RIP 🙏
Geraldo has always had that same "used car salesman" vibe. Truly an interloper in media from day one.
He Geraldo seem nervous trying to interview people and he was a journalist that had to speak with the people when in the field.
When Don was doing the good dope.
Imus, RIP
Don Imus was burning the candle at both ends and in the middle back then. Imus In The Morning and then Imus In The Evening a “Swear With Flare” at Jimmy’s. He was called “ The White Richard Pryor”
