I agree with you about player not there for OTA's, except, for offensive players this year. The Saints are installing a new offense and I'm sure the missing offensive players have the new playbook but missing live installs is not a good idea. Those missing players will be behind come training camp. No way around that.
You'd "like" to see them there, but the flip side is guys that usually wouldn't get those snaps or that attention and focus, suddenly get more attention and reps and a chance to develop. It's a double edged sword, focusing only one one side is a fallacy.

I am so glad that Cancer MT and Don’t Listen Winston are gone and a new OC and offensive staff is here. Maybe now Saints fans can stop living in the past and appreciate and support what they have now.

Trevor Penning in my opinion can be an above average guard but to me he’s lost especially in pass blocking as a tackle, I hope the saints haven’t made a mistake putting him at right tackle instead of left guard like they did successfully with Peat

The Bugatti will be hitting on all 16 cylinders this year.
Reasons:
1.) They now have an actual NFL OC.
2.) Second year with receivers who were lost in space last year early.
3.) New OL line coach with new blocking scheme and will have an actual NFL running game.
4.) No more Cancer MT
5.) No more Winston pretending to be a supporting cast

@@pbm8264Having a fellow alumni in Haener will probably help Carr more for the following reasons that may or may not be true.
1.) Haener will actually pay attention to what is happening in the game and give sincere tips to Carr that will help instead of hurt him
2.) I thought I had more reasons but I don't. But I do think the 1st one is HUGE. Sincere and honest and no posting cryptic gram videos. I hope.

Rattler was the biggest steal of the draft! The kid is a stud, he can really ball out and has the potential to take Carr's job at any given moment and these bitter Carr groupies know it which is why they hate on him! 💯

In that this is Carr's what? 11th season? What makes anyone think with a "sub-par" OL, Carr is going to perform at a level he never has before? Raider fans need not respond.

I haven’t seen enough to have a valid opinion but I don’t think the national media does either, going off of what coach benson and other coaches apparently this oline could be great. We don’t have to base our oline on the entire nfl we have to compare our division, how much better are their olines. I love fuaga I know he will do everything in his power to be the best he can be. Trevor looks excited and has always been a good run blocker. We’ve got Lucas Patrick for depth at the lg if nick sal ends up being pretty good with Cesar looking as healthy and strong as he does rn, and Eric of course seems very excited on the direction of the group. That’s it. Just wouldn’t call em sub-par yet when we haven’t seen a game. Last year was awful Derek finished the season at 10th, if we are better than sub-par and a better scheme why couldn’t he win up to 10 games.

Good thing you said Raiders fan need not comment. Because I was about to say Carr was a top performer in 2016 under Jack Del Rio and 2021 under no coach in which both years he helped the Raiders make the playoffs.
