I will discuss Franklin halves varieties called Bugs Bunny. These varieties are common in 1955 halves, and from 1948-1963 most of these years have this variety. We will look at years 1951 & 1955 varieties. They are called booger and vampire varieties.. I am citing the Cherry Pickers Guide that shows a list of these 13 photo varieties. They are called FS401 & FS402 varieties. The value of these coins can range from about $50.00-$100.00 or more depending on the MS grade, which could be more money for hiigher grades. Rarety and demand also plays a part in the value of these coins. Collecting these coins could be fun for any collector.

I have quite a few Franklin's, but I've never taken a look at what I have. I bought them from an LCS and assumed the guy had already done that. Nice to know how the varieties were formed. Thanks again for the info.
Hey Stax! Thanks for watching. You will have to go through your Franklins with a loop and check them for boogers and vamps.
I'll have to - I didn't realize they were worth so much.@@seniorsperspectivewithatwist
