      What is even more disconcerting is how did this complete pillock manage to make his way past the selection committee.
      It doesn’t say much for the vetting process when someone of his calibre is chosen to fight for a seat in Parliament.
      And the Tories wonder why the voters despise them and can’t wait to deselect them at the next election. Absolute plonkers, all of them!!

    Agree with Habib in this instance. Ministers are in important positions in this country and should take the responsibility seriously. Putting oneself in a vulnerable position could have serious ramifications for the country and it's security.

    Blackmail is not the issue here. William Wragg unwisely put himself in a position where he could easily be blackmailed. An MP should know better. When you’re communicating on an app, you have no idea whether the other person is who they say they are. This is personal security 101. Wragg was not brave, he was a fool.

    Moral dilemma, his actions were irresponsible in the extreme and not defensible. He put other people at risk and I wonder why he has garnered sympathy and has not been sacked.     All british parliamentary ministers? Should be above contempt! And should be above scrutiny?(They should be squeaky clean) ?and should be guided by a deep sense of Morality?; and have a deep moral code of conduct? And in my personal opinion! If any members of parliament are found to be wrong doing or even suspected of wring doing? They should be expelled from the house? And forbidden to continue in any form of political arenas ( government or local authorities)? END OFF? .

It was a dereliction of his duty and he should resign or Rishi Sunak grow a pair and sack him.
