I recently purchased this item in SS. When I first got it, the middle segment didn’t pop out unless I intentionally caused it to, but after only 24 hours of use it now pops open spontaneously. I’ve tried cleaning it, swapping out the beads, using different springs and varying amounts of tightness with the screws. Nor can I adjust the bearings as these seem to have been superglued in place. Any tips for assembly to avoid this issue?
@@spookyiphan Sort of. I think it has less to do with the screws and more to do with the inner magnets. If the super glue that holds them in place starts to wear off, they start shifting around slightly and mess with the whole thing. One of the magnets on mine detached and after I glued it back securely in place, it has started to function properly again. You can use a heat gun to loosen them up and then use another magnet to pull them out-if you do that, just remember which direction they are facing because if you put the magnets in the wrong way it won’t work anymore.
