- These halls accommodate a wide range of performance types, such as opera, classical orchestra, and ballet. Behind each and every concert hall there are unique architectural and design projects. Physics, engineering, and architecture are often involved in the process of conceiving and constructing these halls, as their joint forces are at the full service of music.
There are a number of concert halls in the world, and each of them would deserve to be mentioned. While in this precise moment of our lives we are unable to visit them, Google Arts&Culture provides us with the possibility to step onto some of the most beautiful stages on earth. We have made a selection of what in our opinion are the most astonishing concert halls of the world.
The likes of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, the Spice Girls, BB King and Björk have all taken to the stage of the mythical Royal Albert Hall in the heart of South Kensington in London. It was Queen Victoria who laid the foundation stone of the building in 1867, naming it in memory of her late husband, Prince Albert. Its dome is 135 feet tall, the mosaic design representing the recent international advancements in arts and sciences. The concert hall will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2021, and extensive excavation works have been started to create two extra floors.
Man sollte immer (!) auch einen Blick in den Konzertsaal werfen dürfen !!!!
Concertgebouw, Amsterdam? Boston symphony hall? Musikverein, Vienna? Gewandhaus, Leipzig and so on sond so on.
Most disappointing - lacking shots of auditoriums with useless walk through that could be a shopping center.
I agree completely. Just a bunch of stock photos, often repeated.

Carnegie hall?
