- A dozen crew members were stranded on a Dutch cargo ship in stormy weather off the coast of Norway. Norwegian rescuers swooped in to save the crew by helicopter.

Thank God they’re all rescued and saved but still let us pray that it won’t capsize and make oil spill a disaster for the sea and it’s habitants. 🙏🏻

This time it was a rescue helicopter from the oil industry. Norway use either helicopter from the oil industry or rescue helicopter from the air-force. The bigger coast guard vessel with helicopters are stationed up in North Norway, where distances can be big.
After all the first vessel on location was a Fishing boat! Coast Guard tried to go out with one of the local coastal ships they have, but the weather was to bad for it, so they had to send a larger one, but due to weather it needed almost a day to get there, traviling at only 8 knots... (top-speed is 16+knots)
