PROS :
KIa Carens Prestige+ Diesel is best car. 👍😊. Most owner/drivers are happy to drive this car with plenty of loaded technology, 6 air bags etc. and enough room space at even 3rd row. Can journey long distances with 6 or 7 adult peoples with decent 19-21kmpl mileage.
CONS : body rolling, hard clutch and still need little power to pull this huge MUV.

Mileage is subjective to each individuals...anytime ac on in city traffic it will be only 14 kmpl and if you get a stretch thdn only you will touch 15kmpl.
As user said with light footed and 80 to 100 u will get 20 to 21
But if u r hard footed in the highway u will get only 16 to 17 kmpl.
I request Mr.Birla to check the mileage also with full tank method for a distance of atleast 50 km...while doing a user review.
Mileage is truly dependent on the driver. If you love your vehicle and believe in safety of self and others, then vehicle definitely has the capability to return good mileage

The KIA car interior exterior design was quite superb no doubt the luxury features also extraordinary but sometimes this car might be creating much problems as per the users review... So my point who ever needs more luxurious features can move for this variant but be cautious about its services also

Yet another fantastic review on Carens.. Friends trust me, i also get 20+ @ high way.. if we drive between 80-100 we will sure get. But once it clocks 100+, it drinks diesel like anything. Sent my odo meter snap to Birla. Above all the negatives listed, very concerning thing is... the Head light.. It has poor coverage in my Luxury varient and understood its the same across all models.. Kia should sure work on that as it will lead to safety concerns.. We cant upgrade the light as we have to keep the warranty intact.
Correctly said… If we maintain the speed between 80 and 100 we can get 20+ mileage. I also sent my odometer snap to Birla but not sure why he is not sharing with all.

The mileage of 21 km/lit average in highway with 6 people onboard is on the higher side. My friend has got Kia carens diesel and with 6 people onboard the average mileage will be only 13-14 km/litre in mixed conditions (ie 50% city and 50% highways)

I got 22kms for 600kms stretch with 4 people..
And i got 18.6 with 6 people's and full luggage.. so iam strongly agreed with this mileage compared to diesel version

I have a diesel AT driven 5k kms got milage around 18-19 kmpl in highways and 15 kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic perfect family mpv with loaded features driving experience is soft nutch ..if your are looking for any car between 10 Lakshs to 20 Lakhs carens is the best option for large family and small family also
Marazzo is front wheel drive...Mr.User....and its a underrated car...for a big family..Marazzo suits well and last row will be good.

While me and my family were at ooty one day in Marazzo car, we met a well slope road and suddenly the car got struggled with full load, then after reducing luggages, only driver alone drove in that slope road successfully!! I will not forget that slope road in ooty😅 "pa antha bayangarama slope road nikka kooda mudila😄"

As usual Good Review! Based on one of your reviews, I shifted my focus to Carens. I am at the verge of booking one, but stopped because of this issue. I heard that we have the AC condensation issue and stalls in slopes? By any means you had this issue? Any suggestion adds value .
I did not observe this AC issue in my third row. It's seen in very few vehicles and they are fixing it with extra foam if seen. No issues in slope for manual. Issue s with turbo dct
Birla sir, every review and all test drive car are G1.4 or D1.5 engine but no one talks abt the most money worth variant G 1.5 petrol. So request you to give us an review on the first two variants. Even showrooms are demanding us to buy that variant with out driving it. They only provide top variants which has completely different engine. Pls share your thoughts.

I have kia carens prestige plus petrol manual variant (not turbo), Yesterday i went kerala trip with family, 6 adults+1 child, bad road not at all highways finished to back bangalore from kerala, munnar also i went hill station, AC on whole trip, max till 4th gear all time, 5-6 sometimes, so considering all i got mileage by calculating petrol vs distance travelled i got 9-10kmpl, its middle because kerala petrol price is 7rs higher than karnataka, i made full tank from here so its 9-10kmpl its wow for 7 seater petrol vehicle

In Mahindra XUV 700, we can't push 2nd row seats. All seats are fixed which is not much comfortable for persons sitting in the 3rd row. But in Kia Carens, 2nd row seats are adjustable and gives good comfort to 3rd row seaters

After 1 year usage I am happy and convinced on the decision I made to buy Kia carens. For me comfort and mileage were my first priority and I can confirm that Kia carens satisfied me in both these aspects. I switched from Skoda to Kia last year and I am completely happy for choosing Kia Carens.
Below are some of the benefits/advantages I have experienced from Kia Carens in my last 1 year usage. I have drove exactly 25,000 km in 1 year 2 months.
1. Good space. Easily can accommodate 5 adults and 3 kids
2. Very comfortable ride
3. Excellence mileage. I get 16 in the city and more than 20 on highways
4. Very good AC
5. Good after sales service. 100x better compared to Skoda
6. Good boot space compared to other 7 seaters
7. Good headlights. Very powerful and definitely better than my previous car
8. Good brakes. Had experienced few times.
9. Parking assistance with sensors.
10. Sunroof which my kid enjoys the most
11. Cruise control which is extremely useful on highways
12. Decent music system. Initially not very impressed but now adopted to it and enjoying
13. Better ingress and egress
14. Ventilated seat which is really useful in this hot summer
15. One of the best diesel engines in the market now. Same smoothness as petrol engine.Haven’t experienced any difficulties with full load. Have done long drives on hills with 6 adults, 2 kids and full luggage for 5 days vacation. It was very comfortable and never faced any issues in terms of power.
Disadvantages.
1. Bad suspension.
2. Body roll
3. Not very useful wireless charging
4. No wireless carplay or Android auto
5. Not impressive build quality. Even my 6 yr old kid is able to open the door easily whereas in my skoda even adults used to struggle to open as it was too heavy

I also own the similar vehicle I faced lighting issue that could have mentioned. Since ligthing is poor and fog lamp assembly not available from the manufacture if both thing is fixed it is perfect vehicle.
