- Today we had a heavy day on the books! 1st up was a big tile roof cleaning, with a 2 story pool cage and a very large driveway. 2nd was a house wash, lanai, and big driveway cleaning. The season is upon us and we have been pretty busy lately. We soft washed the roof with a 6% mix, we downstreamed the house wash, and we didnt pre treat today. however we did post treat both concrete driveways to make them look their best! The 12GPM and mini mondo combo has been a game changer so far!

Awesome pay day. All came out great. Yes Sir bleach and stained wood don't go good together I learned that when I had to restain an arbor that I got overspray on it.

Great videos bro. Doing some damn good work. A couple of questions for you: 1. Do you walk 6/12 pitch roofs? 2. I see you deal with a lot of black algae on roof soft washes but do you deal with any green algae? I’m in Northern California and have some thick stubborn green algae on a tile roof. 3. What pump volume do you run? 4. What diameter and kind of hose do you use? 5. And finally, sorry, what is your gun set up as it looks like your SH comes out slower than mine.
Thanks. I think 5/12-6/12 may be my absolute top pitch limit to walk. Yes ww got green and black algae here. I use a delevan 12v 100psi 7gpm pump. I use 1/2 inch hose for application. And I have a video of my 12v gun setup on my channel, scroll back on the list of videos you will run into it.
@pink flamingo power wash llc have you ever cleaned dried paint off stone and a patio? If so, dod bleach and water work or did you use something specific for the dried paint?
Hey Cliff, The mini mondo looks to make short work of that driveway...is that still a 3/8 hose with the 12gpm ?? or did you need to go up to 1/2inch?
It rips with the 12 GPM. I do use 1/2 inch hose with it for better flow. Right now I'm only carrying 100ft of 1/2 inch hose so if I need any longer I just add 3/8 hose on the top end.
This is going to be a dumb question man. But how do you flush your 12v system. All my hoses are ran through bulkheads. Soap SH and Water. Would I just turn the sh off and soap off on the proportioner and let just water flush through the whole thing all the way out the gun?

No a dumb question at all. On my sh proportioner valve side I run a 3 way banjo valve. 1 line goes to the sh tank (for when I want sh) 1 line goes to the water tank (when I want to rinse the sh valve) and the 3rd port is the outlet. Here's the 3 way banjo

What do you think the maximum weight of a person should be walking on a barrel roof because I’m a bigger guy but I don’t want to be damaging no roofs. Thanks
Not sure about weight but if you walk on them correctly they won't crack. I've shown how to walk on them numerous times. I weigh 263lbs so I'm not a light guy lol

Hey man, quick question. Do you think you could clean the roof quicker if you let it dwell instead of creating so much run off?
Run off is inevitable on tile roofs. It's a hard surface so it's always gonna do that. If you watch my shingle roof cleaning videos it's way less run off.

Man i can't believe you walk every roof. How many gallons of sh would you say you use on a roof this size? Im assuming you're spraying 6%
Yes 6% this one was pretty big so I used about 30 gallons I believe.
