As a life long Yankee fan this pisses me off and just makes me think that they need a revamp in the front office because if this is how they treat the captain a player that as proven and as established in the franchise and fan base as Jeter the fact that he requested not to make it public and do like they could've lost judge becuz of it like an old way of thinking and negotiating and the team doesn't benefit from it
