Monchi & Unai Emery are incredible coups for Aston Villa
Most of the signings was made before Monchi came in, bar Zaniolo & Lenglet they are all Emery signings, Monchi effect will be seen in the transfer windows to come.
Eh I'm not that interested in Monchi at all I think he could end up being massively detrimental. He's brought in Lenglet and Zaniolo who he'd worked with before, and both are ass. Were about to sign Acuna who I do think is good but it's just another guy Monchi has signed before- I hope he has some fresh ideas soon.

Great breakdown. The last few games we've seen us, at times, shift to a back 3 during games with Kamara dropping in as RCB which is another shape I'd like to see broken down. I think we use it against teams at home who sit in a low block. It allows both full backs to be forward at the same time with Luiz as a single pivot dictating the game. At least that's my take on it. I believe Emery is tactically one of the best managers I've seen in my lifetime.
Tbh when we start with a back three we look terrible however as younpointed out when we start with a back four and kamara drops into a third centre back position we look really good

bit of an oversight to not mention Ezri Konsa in that last sequence. he's been solid in all competitions all season long. Youri Tielemans has also adapted well.
You bring up a point most people overlook. Villa are creating all this without their two star playmakers, Ramsey and Buendia. Ramsey back next week at some point, and Buendia towards the end of the season. Both will be like new signings at vital times of the season
Don't forget Alex Moreno. Way better than Digne. Fast and a lot more progressive with the ball.

(Now writing as a video editor) i think theres an audience for slower paced, longer form videos by you. The information you packed in was rich, and very much of the current trend - analytical yet snappy. I think a longer form video where you gave the same information but in a slower way, with multiple examples, would be great. Lingering on points for longer, perhaps drawing in comparisons with other teams.
Perhaps im just getting old and cant keep up so quick! Anywho great work eitherway and thankyou. This message is not meant to be read as criticism but rather an idea for future videos. Hope it doesnt read as such. Peace

We actually never utilise crosses from deep from our fullbacks. Possibly more due to our personnel - both Moreno and Cash want to reach the byline and cut it back, Cash wants to shoot lol
unsure on the comment on Watkins being a 'channel striker' when the main thing that Emery has told him to focus on staying in the lines of the penalty area. He generally is bang in the middle dropping off for balls to feet. Good video nonetheless.
