  • Since Peter Obi, former Anambra state governor, declared his intention to run for president in the 2023 general election in Nigeria, the peace-loving, soft-spoken, gentleman have visited the six geo-political zones of the country to canvas for support amid challenges of insecurity, inflation and religious crisis, just to mention a few.
During his nationwide delegates' campaign tour, the former presidential running mate to Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 general election, stated that he only needs 4 years to fix Nigeria. Obi said he would replace sharing formula of monthly allocation with a production formula if elected.
He further stated that Nigeria has been badly managed over the years and the country is collapsing...In a meeting with PDP delegates in Kaduna State, Peter Obi promises to turn Nigeria into a producing Nation that is less dependent on oil.
Joining us now is his Excellency, former Governor Peter Obi, a Presidential Aspirant on the plartform of the Peoples Democratic Party' - the PDP.

What I see in Peter's eyes is the pride to be called a Nigerian again. For to be Nigerian is to be the jewel of the black race.
I hope, he gets the ticket. I hope God touches the heart of even those who will contest with him, to step down for him, and let this country get it right for once!
And the party will see wisdom in putting popularity, capacity, people's choice first.
And the other contestant see the summation of the sacrifice in him.

If Nigeria were a computer, you'd do a clean factory reset. There is a collective loss of hope or lack of effort or even lack of responsibility. Anytime I listen to their Presidential aspirants I fear for them. The aspirants are older, less competent, they stoke the same good old religious and tribal division. I heard one of speak the other day, he practically insulted the incumbent and bragged out his superior ability to win elections ... never heard him once discuss how to fix the country. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I haven't seen a candidate under the age of 50, even 55. None of them talk sense ... The capable and smart in that country don't want to go near that job. Press the reset button, or at least handover the country to younger generation.

He is most educated politician in Nigeria and it takes brain to get degrees from Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge, UNN, Lagos Business School, London Business School. He was given 7 million loan in UK with his intellectual property (collateral) he managed it well and built wealth. He was at a time the youngest bank director in Nigeria at age of 39. He managed Anambra well for 8 years and brought the state out of the pit other vultures politician put is and he save the highest money for Anambra government without a single loan yet paid all the debt he inherited from past governors and their godfathers. He is the man but does Nigerians deserves best? Or will they elect another Buhari and complaining and suffering as usual?

Mind you that Anambra doesn't have much government money to spend like Lagos and Rivers but he managed perfectly the little and still worked well. He brought HERO BEER by investing 20 million dollars in the foreign beer company and today that 20m is worth 100m investment and Anambra State has become the highest shareholder in that foreign beer company which was confirmed by the current governor Soludo. He paid all debts of Anambra that was in billions and never owe any pension or salary yet he saved over 75 billion for Anambra which was one of the reason the state never enter recession when almost all states entered into recession. If you know where thugs and political godfathers left Anambra in pit before Peter Obi came and rescue the state then you will appreciate him well.
Even if he can block waste in Nigeria and utilize the Nigeria money as he did to Anambra and clear some debts then he can set the country in the part of forwardness. Nobody can solve Nigeria problems overnight but we expect the best efforts put in place and to position the country to forwardness direction.

In writing a report on this (this report was not inferring that Nigerians are the ones involved in the act but rather inferring that there is a market for it that our laws allow them to still come in), I discovered that Peter Obi while as a Governor orders a number of Innoson vehicles and paid complete cash in advance and advance that the CEO is grateful for. This was way back in 2008. This is a true act that when he says he has a plan for growth, it is not just a statement but rather we can look and see a true act of them in existence.
