French Ultramarine Blue

Dear Harriet, just stunning. Your brush control is superb. I know daily practice will surely help but whenever I attempt to paint any line as such it usually starts off ok then I just veer off 😌😂 Thanks so much for all your free tips and techniques you offer on 'you tube' xx 👍 I always thoroughly enjoy your tutorials . My daughter has just bought me some of your fabulous watercolour paper, so excited I will attempt this tutorial as it's so pretty and will make a nice wall hanging in my kitchen 😁 xx

Thank you for doing the tulip and other flowers Harriet. I had a go with my new 0 and 4/0 brushes from your shop. I only seem to be able to paint an outline of one tiny ear of corn with the ultramarine tho'. My paint is new and in a pan and i dont seem able to get the right amount of water or paint on the tiny brush. Also i am confused - the brush you call 2 tenths (ie 2/0) is bigger than the 4 tenths (ie 4/0) brush. I'm not brilliant at maths, but I thought that 4/10 would be bigger than 2/10! Probably me, but I'd love it if you could clarify, please. By the way, I love these Delft tile tutorials - a fantastic idea. How do you thought of doing a windmill or are you keeping it British? I love delftware and saw a lot of it when I visited Bruges quite a few years ago. Thank you again, this is fantastic. Hope you enjoy your bank holiday..
