She's always been so sensitive, empathetic, kind, and inclusive. I wish she had been treated with the respect she always showed everyone else. Such a wonderful and talented individual.
I remember when I was a young fan I idolized Britney but I never liked her interviews because I believed there was no way someone so incredibly gorgeous and talented was actually humble and sweet. Now, as an adult, I realize she was always being genuine.

I was just thinking, she was super shy and sensitive but pretty sociable and smart. I feel bad for most of Disney kids, some make it out, it’s just to much for a kid to handle.
There was no avenues for artists in that era to speak openly about their experiences good or bad
She was a child and never was given the chance to live a normal life...and had to be SO CAREFUL with agents, handlers, press ... Not cool for a child at all.

I’ve been a fan of her since 1998 when her single came out and then I got her album for Christmas of 99. I was so excited I was obsessed with her. I was a super fan went to several concerts, met her backstage went to her restaurant Nyla in New York in 2001. My locker was covered in Britney Spears pictures. My bedroom, head to toe had posters and pictures of Britney Spears all over it I sang my little heart out. I learned all of her dance moves. I bought the book her and her mom wrote together. it was a fiction book. I’ve been through a lot of similar things that Britney went through and I always related heavily to her. I married a man named Kevin, my beloved husband we’ve been together 18 years married for 15 I met him in 2005 which is right around the time Britney was pregnant with her first child, I got pregnant with my first child while she was pregnant with her second my brothers name is Sean my nephews name is Jaden. I had major connections to her in my mind. It breaks my heart absolutely crushes my soul what her family did to her, especially because my own family did some messed up things to me when it came to institutions as well when I was a teenager, so I really related to her still do

This is random, but I really like the way Conan interacted with her during this whole interview. I feel this very clear and attentive energy coming from Conan - It’s just that he’s not afraid of sort of being turned very directly toward her and engaging with her even though she’s been all lacquered up for the drooling masses. I feel like he senses her self-consciousness and understands it.

@Sam Watch any talk show, you'll see talk show hosts only pick up the dialogue when they notice their guest is someone with no personality, no sense of humor, no spontaneity. If you know Conan at all, he can't stand talking to people like this, but he has to multiple times because the network works with Britney's people to give her publicity. He has to wring good TV out of it somehow but she was giving him nothing.
Watch some Daniel Radcliffe interviews from when he was a teenager and you'll note age has nothing to do with it. Britney is a showbiz manufactured puppet who never got to develop a personality, basically the Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian of her time.

People were so mean to her/still are. I think because she was trying to be everything to everyone and she is sort of yes girl. Shes the only pop star I actually liked watching.
She's still humble but she is way more aware now in terms of how badly others have been treating her in the past so of course she will be a lot different considering the trauma that she's had to go through FOR YEARS now. She's humble but at the same time she won't let others walk all over her and I love how brave and honest she is nowadays and she just calls out whoever she needs to. Because "being nice" doesn't always work especially with certain people, you have to hold your ground and RIOT. And be twice as mean as them. Can't let them take away your power.

I feel like her whole entire career, even in the beginning, Britney was taken as a joke and treated not as nice as other celebritites were treated. I do not like how everyone felt that they could push her around, and she was just such a humble and sweet girl and kind soul that she would let people act passive agressive towards her. She was never treated right and with respect.
Her song Lucky is like infamous in how prophetic it was. It predicted everything and that conservatorship made it come true.

@@shersockholmes6261 No, her father stepped down as the conservator of her person due to the fact that he assaulted her son and has a restraining order against him which meant that her custody time was affected. Her lawyer did not resign. Her father is still the conservator of her estate and is refusing to resign despite Britney telling the courts that she is scared of her father. Britney herself has said in court documents that Free Britney is not a conspiracy theory.
After I learned about her regret with her abortion and how JT used her, I see her in a different light now. God bless her❤
