I have the same machine and storage box. I used a cheap wool blanket to wrap my scissor jack in and placed it on the bottom. It also helps with the heat inside the box. The inside stays so much cooler now. I hope you all have a wonderful time at H&M trail. God Bless!
Sam, I use harbor freight tool bags to put my tools and my recovery equipment in. There's plenty a room on both sides of the storage pod to anger them down with lock and ride eyelets And budgies. That will free up your storage pod for lunch and clothes and maybe your drone. My 900 is an S but I'm sure you'll have enough room also. I enjoy your videos.
We looked at that machine but was a 8-month wait. We were thinking about it and found this one. WE LOVE IT! Thank you for joining us on our adventure. Make sure you like and subscribe. Have a blessed everyday and stay rzr focused!
I have the same jack as you and same Polaris. I opened the front cover (above radiator) and mounted it to the radiator support. It fits perfect, lays flat. I used 4 zip ties (criss crossed). Zero isssues. Give it a look. Keep the great videos coming! 😉🤔
If that's a metal to metal contact with that plate for the spare tire mount. I would get a piece of intertube and cut it, rap it around your pipe to protect it. I'd get a bottle jack that comes in a case Amazon had one that lifts up to 16 1/2 inches. I also find those Apache waterproof cases from harbor freight come in handy. I've use them for mount electrical stuff in and it stays dry and out of the weather.
Run the scissor jack down and zip tie to the rear upper 45 degree brace, right or left side above the rear cargo box location. Wrap a piece of innertube around the post/ brace before you zip tie it on. Zip tie the handle on the other side. Just carry some extra zip ties. Works perfect on my X2 Wolverine
Mine is 2013 900 xp. I put the scissors jack below the trunk. The silencer have a plate and frame that run across. I engaged the Jack within that plate and the frame. Hope you understand. 😢😊
Number one, get rid of those tires. Step two, get 10 ply tires such as pro amour dual threat. Step three never have to change a tire in trail. Step 4 just in case carry tire plugs and a pump. But seriously hope you are doing well and if you have the right tires and puncture kit, you don't need a spare
If it helps your OCD, get a new set of rims and tires 14x7 rims and 28-10-14 tires, this way you an get that extra tire that will fit both front and back and you can rotate your tires and save your threads. It will also give you a inch more clearance to keep you that much better from bottoming out from rocks.
Yes I have the front for the spare. That will work on both positions in an emergency. Great idea. Thanks for joining us on our adventure. Make sure you like and subscribe. Have a blessed everyday and stay rzr focused!
I was super annoyed when I found out the spare tire blocked my camera. I ended up welding up a brace that bolts between the two 45 degree rear cage tubes to mount the spare tire slightly higher. Pretty bad foresight by Polaris if you ask me.

That is the Polaris accessory. We searched several. I believe now super ATV makes one that fits above the rear. However, we were trying to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. With a 50 inch we have to keep that in mind. So the Polaris one works great. Thank you for joining us on our adventure! Make sure you like and subscribe. Have a blessed everyday and stay rzr focused!
Hey thanks for joining us on our adventure! Super ATV is where I got the windshield. The other parts I purchased from my dealer. Crossroads Yamaha Suzuki Polaris in Albemarle North Carolina. I went with a 4+3 offset rims, I will make a video on my channel once I get my set up done and bumper arrives.
Looking forward to seeing the finished project
For your spare, did you get the 26X8X12 (front), or 26X9X12 (rear)? I have the same machine and the stock tires are staggered sizes.
