- I have had a few people ask me to do a video on all of the spare parts and tools I carry in the RZR so that is what this video is about. I try to be prepared for most of the issues we have out there and am pretty happy with the current setup. Hopefully this video will be useful to someone if it saves a day of riding. It would take me 5 cases of beer to accomplish that level of organization. Bravo brother. Very nice.

Cases of beer are a unit of measurement of time. Lol That would convert over to roughly a month of organization. Great stuff man. Really enjoy your all's footage.

Great video. We just had our first on trail break down with our 2017 RZR In WV ended up stuck out on the trail for about 10 hours before someone could come help us. We will be adding to what we bring with us in the RZR and in our trailer.

Great video! You sure are prepared on the trail. I noticed you added an in cab winch switch to your polaris 4500 winch. I have the same and I'm worried the wireless remote will fail sooner then later. I haven't figured out how to add the switch in. Can you point me to a write up or offer some guidance. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks Tony. It took me a long time to get the set up I am at right now. I am always trying to update things. It is a never ending journey!
I also carry jumper cables but I use them for doing a quick trail weld repair welding with 6011 rods I keep in my kit! You just need 2 batteries wired in series then the jumper cables are your welding leads!
H and Brian are the welders of the group. If I tried to weld it would look worse that those welding meme's you see. lol

You may want to try a kinetic rope tow strap. They are more expensive than your average tow strap but are well worth it in my opinion. Mine is a yankum strap. Being prepared on the trail is like a 4 wheel drive truck.you don’t need it until you do lol. Thanks for the videos man

Great video. Curious as to the make of your trailer. Have been considering an enclosed aluminum trailer instead of our open equipment trailer.
Thanks. It is a 28' intech icon trailer. I have had it a little over a year and really like it.
Awesome vid man!! You and me think the same! Better to have and not need than to need and not have! Especially when your miles deep in the woods!! Few suggestions one is a good fire extinguisher like the Elements E50 fire suppression!! They are badass and last 5 times longer than a traditional extinguisher! Search it on Amazon! Lastly I would positively secure any tools or items that can go flying if you roll which will do extra harm flying around in the air! Storing in the glove box is a bad idea! Just saying! I have an onboard air compressor from Full Metal Fab Works that beats anything out there and they are custom made to mount for different sides sides!

Yeah after the incident this past weekend at the SRRS race at Wildcat I and looking into a auto suppression system. That scared the crap out of me.

Outstanding video. Forgive my ignorance but I have a few questions about the storage box.
Will the stainless box fit a XP 1000?
How did you mount the box?
Thanks Boom. The box is aluminium so it cuts down on the weight. They make a version for the XP1000. It is almost identical. It attached the bottom of the bed of the RZR with supplied quick release screws.
When installing PRP seats with 6 point harnesses were there and problems fitting the retractable piece through the hole on seat back to reinstall them to roll bar.?
No issues installing them. It just makes it difficult to take the seats out because you have to either unbolt them from the cage bracket or re-thread them through the belt itself. It is actually quicker to unbolt them.
Very nice kit! The kit for my pioneer is a koozie and some sunglasses. Lol Just kidding man. Well done.

No vise in the trailer or oxygen/acetylene torches for welding/brazing and a maps torch?
There is a vice in the trailer. I am not a welder so I dont carry any of that. Brian, and H are the welders of the group.
Not sure if it’s true but I’ve been told that if you put too much stuff hence weight on the trunk that you’ll have a lot of belt problems? Anyways…It’s better to be over prepared than not have it.
Can you do a tour of the tow rig hooked to the trailer and the garage!?
I am in the process of changing the tow rig and trailer. I should have the new set up in a couple of weeks and will do something like that then. 👍
Ryan if you don’t mind me asking, what do you charge your RZR battery with? I have the new model noco 2 amp like yours, and it will do 12V,AGM,and lithium. My battery is stock as well. Which of those options do you use?

Thanks. The wheels are 15" STI HD9's with a 6+1 offset.
What spring compressor is that? Looks way better then my harbor freight one.

Why do you guys like the Turbo S units? Do you guys ever add riding members? I guess the High Lifter would do ok on the rocks.
They are incredible machines. The 72" width makes a lot of the trails feel a lot more stable. We have updated a lot of the parts but have them pretty much on point right now. A high lifter would be fine but you would need to change the tires for a lot of the rock crawling if you want to have the best results.

Southern Land Riders did you do any adjustments to your clutching or your suspension?
@@nbomar nothing on the clutch. The stock S clutch is really good. No issues with heat or anything. It stays under 120 degrees and pulls great. I have a rzr aid tender spring kit that helps a lot though.

It was made by a company called Ryfab. They are no longer in business The box was awesome though.

Even with all of that I’m amazed you don’t cary a spare fuel pump in the trailer. I feel fuel pumps go out just as often as wheel bearings.
I have one now. Chris carries one in his rzr as well so we always have one out there with us. His went bad last week at moab on the trail.

Where did you get the box on the back? Looking got something like that for the Pro XP
It's a Ryfab box - they are expensive, but super nice. I like that two of the bolts to secure it to the RZR screw in from inside the box, so someone can not come and just take the box out of the RZR - adds some peace of mind. Not sure if they make one yet for the new Pro XP version.

As of now, they don’t have one on their website. But if you factor the price of both plastic Polaris boxes, which should be equivalent in space for two, the price is not that bad. I hope they come out with one soon. I’m new to this whole SxS game. Are your rides open to other people, or do you just ride with a specific group. I’d love to come ride you all sometime. I’m in the military and stationed in Virginia/DC area.

It is a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I used a RAM mount and screwed in into the grab bar.

Unrelated, but what do you think of the Crawlers?
I love them. I have run them on all of my RZR's. Only downside is the sidewalls are not crazy strong. The tread pattern is great for the type of riding we do. I just bought 4 new MRT's version of the tire with stronger sidewalls so we will see how they hold up.

It's the best SXS on the market in my opinion. The 72" width is a huge advantage and they are solid, well built machines.

Do you guys stay in cabins when you go?
We all pretty much started out staying in cabins years ago. Several of the guys have gotten RV's and campers in the past couple of years and it was pretty much just me and Joey in a cabin and the rest in a RV. I just got a RV 2 weeks ago so we will all be in RV's from now on.

The garage cabinets are newage pro 3.0 cabinets and the trailer cabinets were built into the trailer from intech.

I am OCD so everything has to have its on place. It helps when I need something. I always know where to find it.

Is there such thing as too much? That is the reason I had the trailer custom built.
Camera work is terrible at showing what you are talking about. Need to aim the camera down more. Otherwise great info.
