Dealing with disappointment and frustration| Satsangh | Personal Experience

- Imagine something unexpected happened to us and gave us great joy. We don't ask God, "Why? Why did this happen?" We happily accept it and maybe also think that we deserved it. But then, when something unexpected happens that makes us sad, we begin asking all sorts of questions to God. We firmly believe that we didn't deserve what happened.
Here are two personal experiences with Swami, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, that highlights this aspect and also provides a solution to overcome disappointment.

Love your story...I felt happy seeing you and sai prakesh with swami...and at the same time ...tears flowed.and my heart sank ..cuz I never had the blessed privilege to see swami in his physical form...I have had many dreams of baba where he give me guidance and of course am very very thankful...yet there is this yearning to get these eyes bless with the form😢🙏
Blessed to see in dream too . Swami has said that Him appearing in dreams is as real as seeing him in the physical plane.

Sairam. When we are in the phase of swallowing rotten fruits (ur previous videos) I just keep sadness and fear as u say here. Once good things come again I praise Swami, Sing bhajans etc., (like vamshodhaaraka example u had given in previous videos). Very well equipped theoretically, but always forget that it's Swami's will behind. This is a very nice example to pull up the socks to live only in the omni present bcuz it now looks to me like I simply find reason and convince myself for being sad and unhappy. We have loads and loads to stick to happy side but very conditionally v close it, is what I understand clearly from this video. Prayers that all we listeners stick to the thought forever that whatever Swami does is only good good & good for us. Hearty thanks for reminding this via ur personal experiences. Sairam.
Whatever difficulties you are going through, remember that everyone is facing difficulties of their own. Hold on to Swami.

Sairam Aravind. How beautiful to listen to your experiences with Swami. It’s almost an addiction isn’t it? It makes us so happy to be able to actually feel his presence. It is your true and passionate yearning for Swami that won him in the end. You are right, because we all mourn over something that has not yet happened that yes we do lose the joy of the present. He only “delayed, he didn’t deny” did he? :):):):):) what a gorgeous analogy that if we see Swami in all, we will think everyone is him! That’s true and heavenly bliss actually when we feel that love through others. This is such an apt talk for the now as sometimes we are so overcome with fear and emotion that we forget to see that Swami hasn’t let go of his faith in us, we have let go of our faith in him!
