Very nice keeping it straight-forward and brief
@@augustsmith9553 I could make a better video today (beamshots etc), but I kept it short and to the point, I don't like padded out videos! Thanks for the comment
Anyone here because they got the free light from OLight yesterday? They were giving away free i3E All day.
They often run deals on this and do free ones sometimes too. It's useful to have
Me
Yes but 2 years later lol
Yes but 2 years 9 months later
Got one today with 30% off on an Arkfield. Good deal!
The best keychain light I ever had.The light actually looks smaller in reality. It looks great with your keys. The brightness is suitable for dark corners, or places you won't spend more than 15 mins, this will be the best choice. However if you're looking for something that last longer and brighter, look for other series, like the s1r, s10r iii etc.
Mine has gone through the wash more times than I would like to admit and still going strong!
It is still working for me
Thank you for a really great review, very interesting and informative, very well explained and presented, I was thinking of buying this one just for every day carry.
Thank you again
Sam
Glad it was helpful! My newer ones are better though
I’ve had mine for almost 7 years. Still going strong!!!
They last this one is working still
Thank you for a short and to the point review. Just got it for free last night
No problem! Free is always good, quite a useful light
@I like tractor S They had a deal going
Thanks, I just placed my first order with olight and this is my free gift. So I just wanted to see what it was, thanks. Looks pretty good.
It's useful more than most think, and worth it for free!
I got one and gave one to my mom. I also got two more on the way. Best bugout bag flashlight. The triple AAA lithium batteries saves a lot of weight and space.
I still use it small and handy wish it had a low output though
Most useful flashlight ever! I have lots of lights from Olight, Nitecore, Fenix . Streamlight, etc. This one is so tiny, so simple, and suits 99% of my needs.
90 lumens works up close or 50 feet away. No UI issues. Twist on, twist off.
I keep it on a cord as a necklace. It is bright enough for any use up to about 50 feet. How often do you really need more? My Fenix TK 75 and TK 35 UE are great, but not practical in most situations. Too big and heavy.
I change the NiMh battery about once a week.
The size of a baby tootsie roll and probably about the same weight.
I still use it, it's useful, just times I'd like a lower level too for up close
another excellent review thank you looking forward o your next video
Hi Keith thanks I have quite a few items to review 3 more torches 2 chargers and a few different items! Will get there eventually
i look forward to them Keep up the good work
Great review. Thanks!
It's an old one but maybe of some use
My cousin and his wife moved to a big city recently and live on a Main Street. So the dogs don’t have a backyard anymore and need multiple walks. Since they’ve just moved and it was hectic with work the didn’t get flashlights. I got my cousin an i3t and his wife the i3e for the dog walks. We both figured she wouldn’t want hers so to keep it on a dogs leash. When she saw it she liked it I guess and she had him thank me which was cool. Been hard getting her to warm up to me who woulda thought?! Anyways Olight is pretty amazing stuff. Anything you’d buy is great. For what it’s worth, I’d say the Olight i5t is the perfect EDC flashlight period. Olight is DURABLE too so no worries on dropping it or having it sit in water.. no biggy for these.
I've not used the i3T so can't comment on that it's useful this small sized torch
Just ordered mine.
It's simple but I use it all the time on the car keys, very useful
Just got mine free today can't wait
It's useful for such a small size
Just got mine for free, black friday deal
I noticed the views went up (a lot) so assumed it was on a deal ;-) I still use it on the keychain working good
Got mine for free as well.
@@ryanhearn910 heck yeah man
Same
Got mine for free as well.
Great review
I try it's not bad for it's day, I might re-review it!
Beautiful light, good review..
Ordered one yesterday for free with &5.00 shipping from Olight
It looks like a good light
I still use it, working fine dropped keys etc.. simple but useful to have
I am waiting for a freeone, coming with a battery I just ordered. Cool little light, for free!
It's a useful item to have, small but convenient.
just got one for free just paid $5 shipping straight from olight!
I still use it quite useful so you will probably like it
Jest wspaniała.Super latarka . Polecam. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Dziękuję za komentarz, Polska to świetne miejsce ;-)
Best keychain flashlight
It's one of the smallest AAA ones, one lower power level and I would call it the best
I've had that the head screwed off the body when I had it on the keychain. Now I'm afraid to carry it. 😬 😩
Not had that problem but maybe the Tiny is a better bet?
This is small torch but helping we on emergency condition 👍👍
I still use it useful to have around
great
It's not bad!!
Can I use a 10440 battery in this flashlight?
Nope it's not supported could blow the LED
how long is battery life?until turn off completely?
Depends on battery used Ni-MH is about 1 hour 25 mins that's a high capacity cell
I keep mine on my keychain and I keep losing the top cap, Eventually it unscrews itself!
I've not had this issue, but I know tolerances can vary
i got this and also the astrolux a01, i prefer the size and light quality of the olight i3e eos... the astrolux is too big to put on a keychain...
I would agree I like the A01 tint a lot more, but the i3e is super small and better suited for a keychain. The A01 is a bit big IMO
I had this light since 2017, I literally used and abused it everyday and it died just a few days ago. Bought a new one.
This one is still working, it's one of the better AAA ones around, small size. Other than a lower output, not much to fault on it really
Fenix e 01 v2 or this olight which is better?
See other reply
Problem is the head turns so easy, it lacks enough friction. Don't be surprised if you get where your going and the head is missing.
I had this on a keyring for many years, and never once had this problem. But samples can vary
@@MrBazReviews I just got another one it is tight if it stays that way over time. The weird thing was they put a little piece of mylar to cover the battery connection during shipment. They usually have a little tab you grab and take out. This one wasn't mylar it was like plastic bag material stuck way down in the head very hard to get it out... just a minor annoyance I guess, some of it is still down in there. Just a stupid way to do that and the wrong choice of plastic.
Can it used for reading
It's too bright really something like a TIKI can or TINI they do a holder micro USB for them
Will they take a lithium ion?
No only 1.5V
Very nice. I want it. Someone has for sale?
Olight store in your country?

@@zvoozmanz I don't know try eBay not sure what shops are available in your region
How long this will last?
It still works it's AAA battery just change it, it's not built in
LED's last a long time
@@MrBazReviews so I mean how long the battery will last.
@@edpaniagua2920 0:24 it's shown on the box lol
For dudes with wives that jog/walk at night: these not only are powerful for their size.. but also are good self defense. In addition to a pepper spray, turning this little light on and pointing at someone’s eyes (even from a distance) makes your vision one big blob.. gives the time needed to escape safely. It literally will blind you, especially at night.
Up close maybe bright enough to give you a few seconds, much brighter ones are more effective as expected
This thing won't blind anyone from a distance, and even up close you can't get both eyes from a close enough distance to even have a minimal chance of (extremely briefly) blinding someone. And you'll just piss off your assailant. Even a 500+ lumen light isn't reliable for blinding people, and if you shine a flashlight in someone's face they'll just grab it off you. If you have pepper spray, use the pepper spray. Flashlight self defense is silly to begin with, unless you have a mega lumen monster, and just suicide with this.

Say aluminum again...God bless the queen. Hahahahaha
I'm not into the monarchy a rather outdated concept IMO, but being British I do say Aluminium the correct way ;-D
How about "Worcestershire sauce"? 😄
I don't get the hype with this light sorry. My 4-year-old (3 modes) i3S gives me a 7.5-hour runtime (20 lumens) using Eneloop white.
A single mode flashlight is a bad idea.
I'd prefer a low level on this too but for what it is not a bad light really
Not sure it is hyped I Think Olight were giving it away at some point with some orders
I think the hype is because it's free. I've got 2. Didn't pay for either of them. Great keychain flashlight. Don't really need more than a single brightness from that. If I want more versatility I'll pull out one of my other lights
This light SUX if you're keeping it on a key ring
I've had this light for over 2 years on my keys. Has never come apart and is wearing very nicely. Always works when I turn it on. Battery life is great if you use an Energizer or Duracell.
