TopKu had to be stopped. It made half the game basically unplayable. Green never did that. Sure it was strong in set 1 (tough in God/Diamond ranks Beerus had the best winrate even in set1) but it never outright killed any other color. Set 3 is Jiren Leader and probably will bring some extra support to ToPku as well. Game looking bleak locally here. No store events for July at all at my local.
I agree, topku needed a nerf, but I don't think it helped balance. I haven't play any locals since the announcement but I heard a lot of players went back to green. Hopefully I'll be able to host some online tourneys to get you involved as well! 🔥🔥🔥
@@ssjCBK Was at the store today for Ultimate Battle, they said they will upload events in July, so not all is lost yet. :) Green is strong but this set got already several anti green mechanics (KO protection/high cost removal) so I think it will be kept in check. Next set introduces Barrier it seems (immunity to card effects including minusing), again a great tool against green who relies on KO late game to clear board to avoid being swarmed.
