I've been running for yrs, until God grabbed me and wrapped me in His mercy grace and love a month ago. I was raised in church and as a child I had a close relationship with God. Regular teenage rebellion went to teen challenge then more rebellion and running. Lost in drugs and alcohol I came back. Backslide and the addiction hit harder with opioids then meth. I got clean when I got pregnant in 2016. I've always prayed but not consistent with church or the word. A month ago I had the disgusting feeling of running away from everything my life my son my family. Not as though anything terrible was going, it was a familiar feeling of lust. Someone asked me to party, not just booze either. I sadly considered and said no. I was so angry at myself and at the person. I started praying and picked up the bible and the Holy Spirit hit me hard. And since then a fire as been rekindled. Praise Jesus. This band was one of my go to yrs ago and all of these songs have me in tears ringing the truth so loud. Oh how the Father loves us.

Don't be mad at yourself, we all have our temptations, and you chose to do the right thing regardless of when, why, or how. It was all meant to be in God's time. He knew already what you needed before you did. My story is very similar to yours and I still have that feeling inside of me that everyone is looking down on me for my past mistakes but I have to remind myself that the only ones who are, aren't the ones who ever knew me, and pray for them to have a better understanding. I am a Mother of 3 and my brother sent me this song to remind me because I started questioning my choices and made the mistake of picking up the bottle recently. I'm just now getting out of a 10 year relationship and it was filled with so much domestic violence and still I love the man and pray for him but God knew that it was time to get me out of there. For a long time I felt stuck and even began blaming myself for him breaking my nose or blackening my eyes etc. It wasn't a normal way of thinking to say the very least. This is our journey though and he will always come find us in our darkest times for sure. Sorry by the way I have my CZcams account set up now for my 6 year old son lol in case there was any confusion.

I was running for years! No more running. Jesus Christ is my lord and savior!
My 37 yr old son accepted Chris as his Savior at the age of 8, surrendered to the ministry at 20 yrs old. To make a long story short, his best friend from childhood was tragically killed in a boating accident. I think he tried to remain true to his ministry after that accident
but eventually depression took over from losing his best friend and gradually pulled away from God. He has been running from God for almost 18 yrs now. I pray continually for him to return and serve God faithfully with enthusiasm as he once did. I have put him in God’s hands because I know He’s the only One who can bring him back to Him. Please help me pray!! GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE IS ABLE!!

I love casting crowns their songs really speak to you. I was dying to lust falling into pornographic moving from failed relationships. Getting arrested because of domestic violence issues my vice and escape was lust I was dying inside crying every night. Until I gave myself to jesus I stopped my addiction to porn and became a more peaceful and loving man I realized Im loved by God and my family. I was in a rush to fall in love and find a relationship but you cant do things on your own everything in God's timing I realize that now. In the future when I get into a relationship I'll have more to offer my mind is clean and heart is more loving and comppasionate is jesus God is so awesome and beautiful he send hi son jesus to die for my sins. This is my testimony I was living worldly living in the flesh and crying ever night. I was putting my sins first and forgot about my first love which is God and jesus. Jesus is the way to true life all the world can sell you is empty dreams. my my life is anew ever since I gave my heart to jesus and I pray that I continue always in the right path giving God the glory for rescuing such a wretched soul like me. I got tired of running having suicidal thoughts. God rescued me and I can say Im so in love with jesus. I see him working in me daily.

I don't know how dreams come about exactly but I am going to share a dream I had a few months ago here.
I was at my parents' house next to their pond, and another eclipse came about. Shortly after,the clouds started departing from one another, and thousands of angels came out of the sky with some playing instruments. Red and blue confetti burst out as well. It's was something spectacular ✨️ 😍.

This song is so powerful! I am convinced that Faith is going to win this fight against Hate. This whole Series has made me laugh, cry and just last night I felt the weight of my faith during Support Club. It was so strong that I stood in the middle of the room arms outstretched, ignoring the hands of my girlfriend trying to break my concentration. It was a passionate Moment between me and my God. Two Years ago I was Sammy in the Video, except I was not Drinking, but living day after day, for the next Anti-inflammatory pill. God saw that and led me to the door of a Surgeon who over the course of a 4 hour Surgery completely replaced the hip. Fast forward 5 months, my biochemistry changed and I am free of all medication for pain and Depression. God's Love and Mercy got me through. I praise Him daily

I can admit that I’ve been the one who’s been running from God. I’ve tried to take control when people treat me badly and I’ve put God on the back burner. I can say that God showed me what to do to the person who bullied, mocked, and verbally abused me. God showed me a movie in my head of me asking my neighbor if I could pray for him. This boy let me pray for him in this vision or dream. I felt peace when God showed me that. I’ve also noticed that the devotional, The Very Next Thing is helping me get closer to God and give me strength to pray. I have had an overflow of prayer for other people when I’ve gone to bed. It is like a long time worth of praying. God is softening my heart towards others and Him. He isn’t finished with me and can use a fool like me. Thank you, God and Casting Crowns.

This song reminds me of a child running from his dad and dad knows which way he is running and catches the child . And as the child knew he was in trouble as the dad catches him and says let's think about what you did was it worth it. As the child breaks down crying and says sorry to his dad. As his dad seen how sorry he was and not only forgave him. But also remind him how much he loved him.

I have been going through It alot lately thinking about my brother who passed away in 2011 my Grandpa Last year and my dad in 03 who all passed and I've been missing so much. I feel like I'm losing everyone in my life. I grew up going to Church and knowing the way from my mom's teachings and I've been running from God since I was a little girl and I still struggle.
