- Jet Set Radio had all the makings of an instant classic when it was first released. Players were obsess with Jet Set Radio's vibrant graphics, and entertaining game play. Though as years went it seemed Jet Set Radio was just a flash in the pan, but still has a dedicated base of fans.

Legit one of my favorite small series of games in the industry. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk can't come soon enough.
@Fred Behrend As far as I've been made aware, they're just being thorough with it. I'd rather wait some extra time and get some solid quality than rush them into leaving bugs and mistakes in the game.
@@massdefection yeah, I think I would agree I think if you have the patiences to wait good thing comes to you with great value, and if you just rush things out you start seeing small little details unravel in front of you. I mean team reptile is promising with how lethal league came out with the art, and the characters actual looking like those iconic JSR characters, plus if people start rushing the team I think that will cause problems as well like that Omori game for example.
The community can ask some questions like how it’s going to play or how the story going to roll out in the game etc?, but I think the community should not send death threats, cursing at the team, or spam the heck out of the team etc. when the game is being developed and if there is a problem then I don’t at that point?
But for me I am going to wait as well.

I still own Jet Set Radio & Jet Set Radio Future. In the past week I've listened to a song or two from the soundtrack. I've played these games A LOT! So much so, with the digital remaster of the original missing songs, and basically no hope of a JSRF remaster, I own multiple copies of each game so I can enjoy them for years to come.
Aisle 10 is a classic.
Digital remaster actually has more songs than original, because it combines music from European and American releases and also adds some JSRF music into the mix. Only "Yappie Feet" and "Many Styles" are missing, because NTSC music, that was in place of those tracks sounded better.
Jet Set Radio is one of the games I'm most hoping for to make a comeback. The setting, the characters, the music, the gameplay; it all comes together to make an incredible package. And Team Reptile really picked up the ball where Sega dropped it. I love Lethal League (It's basically JSR as a fighting game. That even just sounds cool.) and I'm eagerly waiting for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk to finally drop. Hopefully, that news about Sega's JSR reboot turns out to be true and we actually get to see it come out.
EDIT: THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PEOPLE! A new Jet Set Radio game is confirmed in development. HELL TO THE YES!

Jet set radio IS the early 2000s incarnate, and not only am I happy to be a part of the early 2000s, I’m so happy that Jet set radio paved the way for the future of gaming.
I never played Jet Set Radio but I played Jet Set Radio Future. I got the game as packaged deal with the original Xbox. It was a birthday gift from my uncle. The first time I played JSRF, it instantly became my favorite game. Still is my favorite and will always be my favorite.
I had this as a free game with my Xbox back in the day, good times.
Yeah, it came with Sega GT 2002 as well.

Jet Set Radio Future made Jets Set Radio series a bigger icon they were going to release a sequel after that but they got canceled which sucks honestly because Jet set radio is better than most games we got today
This game gave me the best memories as a kid. I never forgot this game and still tell people to this day if they remember it. Most don’t but I do. Glad to see this video!!
I always ask people myself if they remember I got a couple people who knew but the majority don't.
if i can get myself a copy i wouldn't mind let's playing it to give it some of the credit it deserves.
i was introduced to jet set radio, from its sequel jet set radio future, and i am interested in trying out the original one!

Jet Set Radio Future is tied with Grand Theft Auto IV for my favourite game of all time.
Both have 11/10 soundtracks.

I Remember getting the game with my dad back in the early 2000s and absolutely enjoyed this underrated gem.. an adaptation or similar game in today's genre of fos and battle royales would most definitely be a breath of fresh air..
They need to remaster Jet Set Radio Future. Us fans have been wanting Sega to do it for years now but sadly it seems like they will never do that. I still play the HD Remaster of the original alot tho. I am excited for BombRush Cyberfunk as well.

I played JSRF to death on the original Xbox. I can't wait for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk so I can relive some of that magic. I would prefer an actual direct sequel to JSRF though.
JSRF was one of my first games on the OG xbox. I absolutely loved it.
Playing JSRF on the OG XBOX with my siblings in our basement is fucking surreal. I miss this game so bad and still actively listen to the soundtrack. This game is ART.
We need a new Jet Set Radio with a modern view, one where you don't run away from the pigs, but one you roast the pigs with molotovs.
Was scrolling my feed when I saw the title of this. Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future were not forgotten Icons.
In fact, they are 8n such high demand to be played again, the group responsible for these master pieces have resurfaced after their falling out with Sega and are creating a new game called Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. They intend it to be as close to a Jet Set Radio Future 2 as they had imagined 21 years ago. It will include bikes and skateboards, it will use a slightly inhaled graphic from JSRF and slightly smoother controls that will still be very familiar, spray painting will have the same concept as JSRF and it will have an improved custom grafitti editor which will be compatible with the Jet Set Grafitti Manager for the steam port of JSR so you can upload your own images.
The best part is, they aren't going to release it as an incomplete game (which is why they delayed the release from last year) and expect it to be ready and released by this fall. It's been 5 years in the making so get ready, we about to hit the streets again.
And let’s not forget the amount of musical artist like 2 mello, dj chidow, and rizi etc., then the music that was made from the silvagunner channel also.
JSRF took up so much of my time when the OG Xbox came out. Mechanics are smooth compared to Jet Grind. Music was so catchy and stuck with me for a really long time. When I hear it to this day brings chills to my soul.

God bless Jet Set Radio for paving the way. I have had a blast in Tevat, and apparently it all started with Jet Set Radio. My Zhongli, Raiden, Ganyu, and Arataki numero uno Itto all thank you for being the catalyst which became a masterpiece. 😆
My favorite songs are Let Mom Sleep (No sleep remix) and the original, Humming the Baseline (D.S. Remix), Funky Dealer, The concept of love, Count Latchula, Ill victory beat, Rock it on and Funky Radio.
I never even played a game from this series, but JSR is still a part of my whole existence. Can't wait for Bomb Rush to finally experience such epicness.
i was really young and didn’t really get the point of completing missions but the amount of hours i spent on my xbox jamming to the music and riding around all day makes me so happy emulation exists as i don’t have an xbox anymore but i plan on finally actually beating it soon

Jet Set Radio Future was one of my favorite games growing up but unfortunately the current Xbox One to my knowledge doesn’t have the ability to play it I still have the original game on disk just nothing to play it on my original Xbox stopped playing games years ago

There was this sick sonic tennis game on ds and had some of these characters it was fun
It was so much fun playing as a GG rollerblading and graffiti spraying while stopping Gouji!
This game was never really popular, it was just known to be a sleeper and a surprisingly good game. I remember the time well. G4 tv plugged it constantly and there were lots of commercials yet no one besides little kids actually played it. I'm sure my experience would be different if I was an elementary school kid at that time.
I remember playing JSRF on the original Xbox when I was 6 or so it’s one of my favourite games ever it’s overall look, sound, characters and etc. My love for the franchise will never go away and seriously always hoped for well over a decade Sega would do more with it. I remember getting Jet Set Radio Future for free when I bought my Xbox, I had no idea what it was and assumed it was a demo. But then it became one of my favourites.

I remember randomly going to a family friend’s house and seeing JSR2 and having nothing else to do. So I picked it up and beat the game. Played it the entire time I was there. 😂 One of my best accidental discoveries ever (#1 was a MacBook).

As a kid I got an Xbox as a birthday present the Year it came out (I was 8)
However, it was JUST an Xbox. Not the bundle that included Jet Set and another racing game.
And sadly every store that I went did not sell Jet Set by it’s self. Only with the Xbox as a bundle. I’m not even kidding. This meant you couldn’t actually buy Jet Set Separately. My dad WOULD have bought me the game if we could find it, just to be clear.
Which meant I DESPERATELY Wanted to play this game and couldn’t.
It was incredibly frustrating
I finally got a copy years later, I think the 360 had come out by then.
And then my Xbox stopped reading discs shortly after.
I did get to play it. It was better than I thought it was going to be
