    Dumb question but I gotta ask. Did you have to pull out or get rid of the original cooling temp sensor?

      Thanks for all your answers. I really appreciate it is everything you need to install and allow it to keep your temperature cool come with the cooling fan purchase or any other items that you purchased on the side

    SO I have an odd question. I connected mine the way you displayed when it comes to connecting up to the ac compressor. I connected the ground to the temp. switch with a junction running to the green wire off the ac compressor. Mine is doing something odd. When I am running the AC, the fan will turn on and off, but when the ac is off the fan runs constantly. The only thing I did differently was installed a inline thermostat that was cut into the upper radiator hose. I am assuming if I connect to the ground wire, the fan would run constantly, and if I run the AC and the clutch is running it would run constantly.

      Ignore the diode wiring and the fan on light wiring. And this would be the wiring. The "manual switch" would be the "AC switch".
      And the thermo switch would be the same regardless if its using it in the actual radiator hose or a prong in the radiator fins.
      Sounds like something got wired funky. Possible on the relay end of things?

      @@phillipmeredith69 cuz all the AC/thermo switch are doing is providing a ground for the ignition power that should be waiting at the relay. The battery power to the fan should be direct from battery through the relay to the fan then ground

      85- 86 should be low power ignition source.
      87 - 30 should be the main power wiring to the fans

    • @phillipmeredith69
      @phillipmeredith69 Před měsícem

      Just to make sure I did this right. When you hook the ground wire that acts as a switch to the wiring for the AC. I connected into the green wire that goes to the back of the AC clutch.

    How’s it cooling for you? I’m here in Texas and want to do this conversion but I couldn’t find much info on which fan to get and how to wire it up.

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The wiring setup is working fine, but the fan took a crap after a couple weeks. I would research a better quality brand fan. but once replaced, its all good to go. After I did this job, they sent the truck to Mexico, and its hot there, so there is good hope for you in Texas. lol
