You did an exceptional job with this one, I was leaning closer and closer into my laptop, completely hypnotized with your narration. I love this Creepypasta, but so far you've provided the most emotion and intensity in a narration, which makes it so much better, and I have a gratefulness for that. Sure, it's easy to read something with emotion to make it interesting, but it takes a certain level of emotion and intensity to draw listeners in and keep them entranced, especially with stories such as Creepypastas, and not many (in my experience) are able to possess that.
Tiny Tim ruined any ounce of fear there was in this.
You obviously haven't seen Insidious then. That movie completely shifted the stigma of Tiny Tim from SpongeBob to the fucking red devil stealing children's souls

the best way I think one could put is is that, the being used to be human and because of that instead of screaming or making noise it decided to play on that fact by using something that humans would be familiar with. Almost like a.... Psychological camouflage ( I know that sounds straight crazy but just bear with me) if you ever saw the last predator movie then think back to the seen where the predators recorded a sound bite of one of the mercenaries calling for help. It's familiar and close and because of that that much more horrifying. I guess it would also be fairly mocking seeing as the creature is evil and its playing something as innocent as a tiny time song. Bottom line It's supposed to be psychologically jarring like a missile strike that was just a mile shy of its target. Sorry for my weird ass logic its just the way I see it.

this just popped up on my feed so i can get an early start on the season
i forget where, but i heard someone else read this recently, except in their reading...they added in bits of the song at the points where the subject was approaching and it could be heard. it added to the creep factor.
i first heard Living in The Sunlight from the SpongeBob episode, Help Wanted. it was the very first episode where SpongeBob applied for a job at the Krusty Krab. the song played while he was making patties for the hoard of hungry anchovies.
I love stories like this. They really appeal to my inner personality. The ones that either kill off a character that I hold dear to my heart, or the ones that have this kind of storyline, and ending. I have this obsession with roleplaying with my sister, and then making my character die or get brutally injured. And whenever I find readings of this type of story, they are immediately put on my list of favorites. I love the throbbing I get in my heart from the pain of hearing my favorite people die. Is that wrong? Maybe to you. You are probably going to hate on me. But that's exactly why I believe that I will be a wonderful addition to my new father's family. I love this feeling. I even seek it out. I'm no doubt addicted to it as much as I'm addicted to creepypastas and drawing. Even now, as I write this comment that will go entirely unseen, my heart is pounding in pained elation. And to those who do see this, maybe even MCP himself, know that this feeling is not going to be forgotten. And no matter what you say, that's not going to change. And if you are MCP, thank you for reading both this story, and the Jeff versus Jane story. Those two are my favorite ways of finding this feeling. Goodbye.
