I wholeheartedly agree. I'm actually painting with it right now (I'm using white) and this pisses me off every freaking stroke. This paint is so damn clear, even with two coats (and two prior coats of Kilz primer), the paint is still not uniformed or solid. I think I h would have to pass it another two times just to get a solid color. It's also has a very sticky consistency that doesn't allow you to blend the strokes. God this paint pisses me off, especially since I paid $50 for it. Oh yeah, and supposedly, this paint is also a primer, but it still comes off transparent....
It depends what kind of paint it depends. What are you gonna use it for? It’s not good to use it for your house. It’s good for you didn’t know furniture and stuff like that but it’s not good for

I paid 30 bucks at Walmart, but I will stay away next time.
Yea it really sucks, I did the same thing. I normally never use Glidden but when I went to get my paint, they didn’t have the base for the color I needed so I thought I’d give it a shot. Sad part is some people say you should never go with cheap paint, but for the price of this paint it is still not considered cheap in my opinion. One person compared it to Elmers glue I think that was probably the best way to describe it.
The Glidden diamond is absolutely horrible as well. Same thing, thick gooey uneven sheen. Really hoping 2nd coat fixes my issue..i used the 14 dollar Glidden ceiling paint with zero issues.. so i figured their best line up would be nice.... not even close
yes it is!!! I'm so upset, I caulked all the surrounding areas of my bathroom and decided I wanted to do red with white trim (inspired by a picture I saw online), and let me tell you I only painted the closet inside of our bathroom after covering shelves- Gildden is SHITTT!! I'm so upset! You literally have to do two coats instead of one. It's the same as buying premium brand to start off with! Description: It's like painting with a water base instead of oil base. It's watery & TACKY!
Yes I thought I just got a bad can it’s horrible takes 3 coats before you get a solid color it’s like something it missing it’s like a clear glaze not a paint
Use the behr ultra paint and yes glide den premium is bad which is why most sane associates don’t recommend it. Use behr i100 or i300 if looking to save money instead or use PPG speed hide which is around the same price for a much better product. Worked the department for 2 years I know what I am talking about
No, if you get that kind of pig you have to make it you have to mix it in the you have to mix it in the bucket you have to have to get you have to get the paint stick and makes it makes it keep mixing it if he had it there for a long time sitting there then it’s gonna get gooey and nasty so it’s probably not good probably gonna have to make it. It makes it too Soft to warm water and soft like paint
I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! IT IS THE WORST PAINT I HAVE EVER USED ALSO! WHAT A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!! IT'S LIKE PAINTING WITH ELMERS GLUE. BETTER OFF WITH THE CHEAPEST PAINT OUT THERE THAN THIS CRAP!
Paints not to bad I’ve used it and it got the job done all that matters!
Crap! I bought some from Walmart last night bc it caught my attention & saved me a trip. I should've gone to Lowe's to buy Valspar like I usually do🙄

I just used it and within 2 minutes of the first coat, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Worst mistake I’ve ever made painting was buying this paint.

I've had a decent experience with this paint (light grey) but I don't think I'll buy it again. I'll probably try Behr or Valspar next.
Buy cheap paint and get bad results. If you pay more you get better paint, brushes and rollers. Sometimes you need a primer first.

It's runny like water
That is the issue, it is never constant as you are right sometimes it is runny and than gooey... Just bad paint!
