Our 3rd video! 🎉 We hope you liked the video! Please let us know what we can improve - and feel free to suggest which MMORPG's we can check out next!
Cool video! I liked how you gave special attention to the multiplayer aspect of the personal story and showed yourselves playing together. One suggestion, I think the voice-over narration could benefit from more energy and excitement, and from sounding more natural. Kinda sounds like you're staring at a script and simply reading words :)
@@just4fun620 Thank you so much for the comment! Yeah we agree on that! We hope to get better at it, right now its probably the issue of nervousness haha. But we will stick with it and hopefully improve! :)
Having someone else to play GW2 with and learn with along the way, makes playing so much more fun. This is true of almost all games, but is specially true for MMORPG games, where you can actually assist each other, and play in a cooperative way. The great thing about GW2 is that you can even do the private story instances, with a friend, or up to a total group of 5 players, and if you are all at the same point in the story, you can all take credit for that story chapter at the same time. I don't know if there are any other games that do this.
We agree with everything you wrote! It is a really great game to play with friends!
Welcome to Tyria!
Its an amazing place! 🤌
I second this! Welcome! I love this game so I love seeing people try it for the first time!
Well its not our first time, but first time in YEARS to make a new character. There are a lot of good changes that happened! But Thank you still! ❤️😊
@@FirestoneTales my apologies, I jumped the gun a bit! But I think you guys made a great video! Keep it up!
Thank you!
What a happy little video! I really enjoy the pureness of it.
About the leveling, I get chu, but also bear in mind (if you don't already do) that hitting 80 is like "congrats! now you have all the tools needed to actually start playing the game! Good luck and enjoy!" xD There an insane ton of other levelings to do once you run out of traditional "levels" to get. It's wild.
And about changing race, yeah, I kinda wish it was posible, but I agree, too much things to consider and account for, but who knows, maybe, maybe.
All in all, good video, and welcome to Tyria!
Hey! Thank you! and i totally understand, my wish is just to be stuck at lower levels for longer, I can only make new characters for so long until it becomes repetitive, but if it was a single, longer experience it would be so great! Also it would be so amazing if they found a way to work around the Personal Story choices, for the race change, maybe even a series of questions with brief explanations/pictures, with you choosing or something similar. :)
@@FirestoneTales I'd like that! the series of questions thing. About the leveling thing, I think I kinda understand you and at the same time don't, and that's the beauty of life haha. I kinda get that experience by doing events and achievement hunting around the world, I revisit lower lvl maps and do events that get me good xp even at max lvl and still getting lost in stuff. I understand is not the same, but it might be something that (when your time in game comes) you might enjoy given your love for the leveling maps.
In any case you have an interesting point of view and I've enjoyed reading it and thinking about it. Thanks for sharing!
Gw2👍❤️💪🔥
Woop woop! :D
good video format, concise and informative - welcome to the game, guys.
Thank you so much! ✨️
while you do level up to level 80 very quickly, that's only the start of your leveling journey! once you reach level 80, you unlock masteries, which are a metroidvania style of horizontal progression, giving you various unlocks like gliding and auto-loot. you train these masteries by getting exp, just like you would when getting a regular level. and there's over 500 mastery levels in the game, so there is still a ton of leveling for you to do!
Mastery system is great but Guild Wars 2 early game is IMO simply a superior experience to later game in GW2. From lore and dialogue writing to gameplay. GW2 is still an overall amazing game. :)
My favorite zones are the heart maguma jungle. Make sure you do heart of thorns before getting the path of fire mounts except raptor as they kinda ruin the progression feel of it. But then when you get your flying mounts they do make the jungle much easier to navigate and flying a griffon in verdant brink is second to none in fun
HOT is amazing! a Metroidvania Mechanics in an MMORPG???? Genius.
That is very true! We originally started GW2 back in the day when there were no mounts, If you ask me, and this might be too hard-core, maybe BUT id go in order fully, no mounts or gliders until you go HOT's, POF.. etc. :D
Checking out other MMORPG games? Try Lord of The Rings Online
Thank you for the suggestion! Its on our list, it will fit well with the 17th year anniversary! 🙌
9:33 'I find it very fast to level up. this is especially sad to see in a game with such a great leveling experience.'
don't be sad. the leveling phase to lv80 is meant to be your extended tutorial. you are encouraged to learn the mechanics of your class and the game in general (movement etc). once you are lv80 and learned your skills, traits and movements, buffs and debuffs (bring down the CC bar on enemies etc), maybe have an understanding of the other classes in game and how they can work together, then the game really starts. it's all a long learning curve and leveling up is just the start. every new player should savor it and use it to get a bit familiar with the game. for vets, leveling up shouldn't be annoying and take a lot of time.
I personally enjoy slower paced leveling games. That's all :) I come from oldschool of mmorpgs, such as old days of Lineage 2, where it took about a year to reach max level, you spent many weeks grinding levels in the same area. Not saying this is better or worse, just my personal preference :)
I play since 2012, but never imagined that a charr guardian would look so good!
He is stunning! 😀
