LOL, this video is suuuuper helpful, and has really set my mind at ease. My kids all have varying levels of bug anxiety, but I actually think this will help my arachnophobe daughter to feel better.

Hope you feel better soon! We are also down with a whomper of a sickness, along with some friends. It sounds like we all got the same crud. 😢 It's so funny - I've been in the SJDS area a few months now and hadn't seen any scorpions until 2 weeks ago when we stayed at an airbnb that had 4 in one night! Moving into our house we found one, but I sort of expected that since it's been empty a couple months. Thanks for sharing the daily fun stuff. 😂

I’m traumatized by tarantulas, scorpions, bats,iguanas when I was a little girl . my last trip to Nicaragua 12 yrs ago I didn’t like the geckos that made a kissing noise couldn’t sleep the whole night I was freaked out lol. I can’t even imagine seeing a snake that’s my phobia.
I've lived in Texas my whole life and the house my husband and I lived in when we got married had scorpions. I had never dealt with them before. He was stung once while we lived there. I had both our children while living there. I was always worried about them being stung. Thankfully they never were. We lived there 9 years and I was so glad to get away from the scorpions

We have scorpions, sometimes in the home, here where we live in argentina. Not my fave! Luckily none of us (family of 6 here) have been stung in 4.5 years time, but we have been instructed to ice the sting to slow the spread of the venom and then go straight to the hospital in the event that we are stung. Did your scorpions stings make you sick or require medical care?
Hello Allison. I just recently started to watch your channel. Is so very informative. I have been contemplating retiring in Nicaragua. Granted I still a few years left until I qualify. I have a question. I few videos before you mention that you will be adding Solar to your extension. Can you elaborate a little on that? I was wondering if you can buy the panels and add a battery for night time use. Is any of that is allowed in the country?
