The Mighty Ironhorse Returns…Doubleheaded!

On August 13, 2022, I took yet another trip out to the heart of the Reading and Northern system to chase the special steam excursion with the famous T1, 2102. It was also doubleheaded with the 425 that made this experience even more wild. As we were chasing, we also ran into LGSR which had the Reading and Northern F units on it, however as 2102 stormed back south with 425, we chased it into the sunset. Was this the same trip that Rail Fan Rowan covered? The last time I was at Jim Thorpe was in the 1970's as a trainman with the High Iron Co. behind NKP 759.
